I had so much hope for this book, but the farther a got along the more and more it seemed to get confusing when I think the author was trying to bring it together. Mitch the man who is working both sides is somewhat understandable but you still don’t know why he would work for the government when his ties to both here and Sicily are strong and his reason are not explained, unless I missed it somewhere. Just when I felt the story was going to give you some direction it felt like it went somewhere else that for me did not make sense. Along with a few of the characters to me did not seem to fit as well. I am sorry to be such a downer but I like mafia book and this one had so much potential, especially with the Mitch character.
