She’s had more than 50 books published and is beyond exited to have joined the Tule Publishing family with a contemporary romance series set at Lake Serene, Montana. The series draws on her love of the wilderness as backdrop for new beginnings and love.

I enjoyed Redeeming Her Montana Love. This is a story of healing and new beginnings for both Alisha and Nate, each of whom have been bruised by tough childhoods and patents that were less than perfect. Although I liked both lead characters, I wasn't always convinced by the dialogue. Despite this, there was enough going on in the plot to keep me turning the pages. A nice weekend read!
Returning to her family’s summer cabin on Lake Serene wasn’t the easiest thing Alisha had ever done, but it was necessary. She still hadn’t made the decision to sell or keep it – it held memories. Some she’d gladly give up, others that she held onto tightly. But before that decision could be made, the cabin had to be made livable, and that meant dealing with the water lines that were cracked and leaking. Fortunately help was on the way in the form of the newly, renovated and still under construction resort on the other side of the lake. One of their handymen, a plumber would be making the trip over to help. Neither Alisha or Nate knew that this meeting was about to change their lives.
Redeeming Her Montana Love has so many emotional layers to it. Two people who are holding such heartbreaking secrets close to their souls have to make the decision to finally let go and trust someone else. And that’s not easy to do at all.
Alisha and Nate’s romance is a slow burning, leisurely journey from where they were to where they could be… if they took the risk. Their story is engaging and brings to light many things that people keep hidden. Some huge, others important if not life changing. Guilt is a hideous snake that can wrap itself around our emotions and slowly kill the good within. This is something they both need to learn to live with, accept and forgive themselves.
I enjoyed their journey very much. Again, like in the first story, we don’t get too much interaction with the new resort, but we do meet a few key players and that part of the series is developing slowly… almost like life, one week at a time. I would recommend this story and series to any Romance reader who enjoys going a bit deeper into the emotions behind characters decisions and why they are… as they are, at first. A solid romance with a few twists that make it interesting and encouraging along the way.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this novel. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this story.*
This is the second novel in this series and is set beside Lake Serene in Montana. As usual, I’m reading the series in the wrong order! I’ve already read the fifth book in the series and jumped at the chance to read this one, too. I don’t think it matters, I still enjoyed escaping back to this serene locality and meeting some of the people living and working there.
In this story, business woman Alisha Hearne has returned to the family’s lakeside cabin after the deaths of first her mother and then her father. She’s unsure about many aspects of her life after losing her parents and inheriting the business her father set up and one of the decisions she needs to make is whether to repair the cabin or sell it. This is difficult because of the many memories she has of staying there. When Nate Quaid, who is a plumber working at the nearby resort comes out to help with some emergency repairs their attraction is mutual but both have secrets and feelings of guilt. Will they be able to trust each other with what has happened in the past? Dare they risk taking down the walls protecting their heart to give their love a chance?
This is a heartwarming romance with well developed characters who are very likeable and easy to empathise with because the author portrays them and their problems so well. The attraction between them may be instant but neither are immediately willing to reach out to the other because of their pasts. As the romance develops there are still problems for them to overcome before they stand a chance of achieving their HEA together. This is lovely romance to escape into and I look forward to reading more by this author in future!
I requested and received an ARC of this novella NetGalley. This is my honest review.
