Amanda didn’t want to be on this trip with her father as they were going away from New Orleans and she figured she would be bored. Her father was the district attorney was prosecuting the biggest drug kingpin in the Crescent City. Amanda’s father had received threatening messages at his office and their home so her dad suggested they leave for a couple of days. Amanda’s dad was going fishing with Hal and Amanda was going to Wright Place- a genuine Southern plantation. Amanda had invited her good friend Carrie on the sly. Amanda had a fear of water outside a swimming pool as she had almost drowned when she was ten. Amanda needed to relax between law school and her father’s case she was tense. Carrie was more adventurous sexually then Amanda. Rory didn’t want to drive to this place of terrible memories but he promised his friend Dave a good weekend of fishing and drinking before Rory headed to NYC for a fancy high paying job. Carrie and Dave were into a sexual conversation at dinner and Amanda was drinking.Amanda sleeps with Rory but he had to leave but said he would be back but Amanda takes off as her friend Carrie had been murdered and the hit man was after her Amanda somehow found Rory and he takes the boat where they have sex again and they go to his cousin’s house.
Well this wasn’t a bad story but I didn’t love it. It had way too much sex in it especially for just meeting. But there was definitely chemistry between Amanda and Rory . Even Amanda’s first sight of Rory before she had actually met him. But I just didn’t really get into this story I finished it this just wasn’t a favorite of mine. I am sure there is someone who will love it, just wasn’t me.

Good mystery, you kinda guessed who the bad guy was early on but the story still worked. I was kinda missing a spark with the 2 main characters though, I just didn't buy into their romance.

Well all you can say about this book is that it is all about sex, sex, and more sex. I think that if there was 20 sentences that did not involve it, that would be a lot. I had to make myself trudge thru it because really there was not a story line, that mattered. It had the potential to be a good book, but really fell short. The book starts off with Amelia being dropped off by her father in a plantation for a relaxing weekend, where she is going to meet her promiscuous friend without her fathers knowledge, there she meets Rory and guess what after just meeting they have sex. He leaves to cover his house due to a rainstorm, since they are in outskirts of New Orleans, it is needed and promises to return once done, but doesn't get to do that because her friend gets killed, while waiting for him and she flees since hitman is after her. How she found his house, when he did not give her address is a mystery me, but she does. They are on the run, but guess what they find the time for more sex, on the boat they escape on repeatedly, at his cousins house, all the time. Finally bad guys get caught, and guess what more sex.
