Description

Emma Walters didn't choose to be a spy, but when her crazy father was caught selling bombs to the wrong people, she was given a choice--become a spy or rot in jail. Her exciting new life as agent Kate Wells becomes more so when she discovers her new boss is the agent--undercover and investigating her father at the time--who took her to third base. Emma is already half in love with the dark and dangerous Chase Sanders. Kate wants nothing more than for him to finish what he started, but he's the devil incarnate. And one doesn't make deals or fall in love with the devil.

If someone had told Chase he'd fall in love with a certain virgin when he was on his last mission, he would have shot them dead, sniper style. She was nothing more than collateral damage, damn it. But watching the sexy new spy morph into a bombshell killing machine is too much to bear. So when the powers that be command him to train her in the art of seduction for her first--and possibly last--mission, he's scared witless. Making love to Kate means preparing her for sex with another man.

Somehow, Chase has to find a way to get Kate in--and out--of her mission without dying. And without falling in love.

Emma Walters didn't choose to be a spy, but when her crazy father was caught selling bombs to the wrong people, she was given a choice--become a spy or rot in jail. Her exciting new life as agent...

This was a good read for me, I found the story very entertaining with plenty of suspense and drama. The sex is very steamy, seemed to be on the edge of BDSM but just not there. Overall the story flows really well and is a steamy entertaining read.

**I received a copy of Trained for Seduction from Wild Rose Press and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and hones review**

Spy Games: Trained for Seduction by Mia Downing is book one in the Spy Games series by the author. I was surprised to find out that it was published in 2012 but it was a rather good story even though I don't usually read BDSM novels, I'd give the story a solid 3.8 stars.

Emma Walters first meets undercover agent Chase Sanders when her fathers gifts her to him for his birthday present. But things don't go the way he hopes and she leaves him rather aroused when she realizes what her father has done. The book flashes forward a year and Emma is now Katelyn and a new agent for the group Chase supervises. Her father has died and she was in a plane crash where reconstructive surgery is needed. He's convinced her that she needs to spend the week-end with him (its his birthday again) so she will no longer be a virgin. What follows is Chase teacher her a bit of his dark side but when she finds out that Jake (who is Kate's partner) also has feelings for her. Chase has waited a year for her and was there when she recovered from her surgeries but fears that she will not like his kinky and darker desires. But Emma/Kate has become a blonde bombshell who is lethal as a agent but wouldn't mind Chase finishing what he started one year ago.

Chase Sanders has had the hots for Emma/Katelyn forever a year but when during his undercover op finds out that her father has sold weapons to several sketchy organizations and crashed his plane. Emma is severely injured, he's able to convince her to become an agent training her to become a agent. Chase had a complicated relationship growing up but with his friend Jake he finds a kindred soul and friend willing to introduce him to a club. But when he asks Kate if she would like to explore a relationship with both Chase and Jake she decides to accept.

This is my first book by Mia Downing and Trained for Seduction gives you a snippet of Jake and Tia's story in the end that might be worth reading.

Trained for Seduction by Mia Downing
Spy Games #1

Erotica set in spy-land…although there was not much about being a spy in the story. This was more a vehicle for erotic encounters between a new spy, Emma Kate, and her boss, Chase. Add in, toward the end, their mutual friend Jake and you had a ménage. I would have to say that the spy part was so-so, the storyline could have done with some fleshing out, the characters needed more development and even the sex scenes were okay but not as entertaining as some I have read.

Thank you to NetGalley and The Wild Rose Press for the copy of this book. This is my honest review.

Good story, not the best as it was very similar to others I have read recently but it was very well written and I enjoyed reading about these characters, the author has made them very relatable, which can be tricky.

The story is definitely unbelievable but if the connection between the characters was better than the "fantasy" of this story wouldn't be a problem. The story didn't hold my interest and it took me awhile to finish this book. As much as I enjoy the sex scenes there has to be something tying the whole story together. And I found the heroine a bit annoying too.
