Samantha just wants to finish high school and be normal. Tough when your hot boyfriend is a wolf-shifter, your family-tree slightly demonic, and your dreams filled with nightmares. Being a witch sucks.
Her relationship status is complicated and the nightmares all too real. Someone is murdering women, drowning them on dry land. Too caught up in her love life, she doesn’t see the storm headed her way.

Samantha Winters formerly known as Beaufart is a witch who can control fire at her will. She is seeing Dan a shapeshifter but not so much lately. She has a half sister Eve who is not like Samantha and cannot stand her. She would like to see Samantha go down. Her relationship status is complicated and the nightmares all too real. Someone is murdering women, drowning them on dry land. Too caught up in her love life, she doesn’t see the storm headed her way. This is book 2 and although I haven't read book 1 this can be read as a stand a lone. I really enjoyed this book. Samantha was my favourite character. This had me gripped from the start and i was rooting for Samantha all the way. This is a must read and I would highly recommend this book. 5*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.
I received an ARC ebook from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
ICE GIRL is an engaging urban fantasy YA novel with witches and werewolves. Although I didn't read the previous book, I connected with the characters right away -- no confusions. Conflict between sisters and brothers, a love that must endure, and a power-thirst villain make ICE GIRL an excellent novel.
All in all, great characterization and plotting. Highly recommended.

I didn't remember the first book right away, but the author did a good job of bringing in just enough information from book one for me to catch up quickly. I enjoyed this one just as much as the first book. I liked the new characters, especially Lilly. I'm hoping we'll see more of all of them in the next one.
Upon looking at the cover, I thought it was like other books, a different story but Sam and Dan are still there.. but no, and I am glad.
To be honest.., after reading the last page, I was "wait.. what?? that's it?!?!?" really, Ms. Mulberry, its like showing a child a giant lollipop and not giving it.. T__T
And because of these questions, I am positively excited for the next book!!! :)
