Description
Newly divorced, twenty-eight-year-old Savannah Brightmore is drowning in
the responsibilities of the ranch she inherited from her abusive
ex-husband. With the workers paid off by her rich ex, she’s left to fend
for herself on the huge operation. There’s only one problem—she has no
idea what she’s doing.
When Savannah meets real, genuine cowboy Bo
Jones by chance, she’s dying to ask him for help. The only thing
stopping her is his tough, intimidating demeanor...and maybe his rugged
handsomeness. Before Bo is able to convince Savannah that she can
trust—and maybe even love—him, disaster strikes at Apple Blossom Ranch.
Will the two overcome their obstacles and let love win in time for
Christmas, or will the fragile bond between them be forever destroyed?

What an anguishing, burdensome, courageous, feisty and GOD - MOST IMPORTANTLY GOD loving novella - phew - all that in one novella - yes - this poor girl is taken to the cleaners by her ex-husband - and then when he does that - he then does some things to make sure she is broken after the divorce --- but he breaks her before the divorce and that is the reason for the divorce if you know what I mean- and the poor thing throughout the novella goes through flashbacks of it - I know what that is like and I can't tell you what torture that is - how courageous she is to go and fight what she left her with - and then there is GOD - who sends her friend to help her through and sends someone else to really help her through - she is a fighter and her friends are fighters and they trust in GOD and you can't lose when you trust in HIM
What a sweet book, I just loved these characters and how strong savannah was, it takes a lot of strength to leave a hurtful relationship. Her support system was excellent in this book, loved Chris and that she was always a phone call or a short drive away and was there for her during all aspects of their friendship! Savannah's emotional breakdowns made her feel so real and relatable as a character. Happy that Bo turned out to be a good guy. Not a fan of the ending wanted more closure and something bigger to wrap up this book.
Is it just me, or does it seem like not letting your wife work is a sign that you will become abusive?
Her ex's father probably beats his wife too.
I hope she's not going to take this lying down.
Well that was scary. Especially to someone with her history.
He sure is pushy.
She really shouldn't be telling all this to a guy she met at a bar yesterday.
Too bad. That burger sounded good.
If he has his own ranch, does he have time to help her?
It takes money to make money.
Does she have any of those designer clothes to sell now?
Because she would wait all this time, start a fire for the insurance, make sure her horse dies, then go casually to lunch? Seriously, Bo?
Is he going to leave in a hissy, then come back to apologize days later every time something bugs him? If so, cut out now, girl.
You should be sorry. Idiot detective.
