Description
In this fourth in the series of Minecraft-inspired adventure books, it’s time for our 12-year-old hero to choose his future vocation to study at the Minecraftia school. His options are less than tantalizing: farmer, butcher, crafter, miner. What this noob really wants is to be a warrior like his hero, Steve. So when he learns that the five best students in school that year will get the chance to start warrior training, it’s ON!
With fun text changes, full-color illustrations throughout, and shorter text blocks to reward readers balanced with longer text blocks to challenge readers, this book will get Minecraft fans off the screen and into reading.

A review from my 9 year old son:- Thank you netgalley for letting me have this book. I am a big minecraft fan and I love reading anything to do with minecraft. This book was totally awesome and I loved reading it. I loved reading about the wimpy villagers and am going to go and build my own wimpy village as it was that good. Can't wait to read the other books in the series! Thanks
Thank you from my son, it was a really good book for him to read. I will post my (his) review online soon!
Like every middle-school-aged boy in North America, my son is obsessed with Minecraft. He also read all of the Wimpy Kid books a few years ago. So, naturally, when I came across this book, I had to get it for him. He really liked it and thinks his friends will too. Highly recommended.
Yet another great continuation of the saga. In this installment, the reader gets a sense of accomplishment over the attacking creatures. Again, Runt proves that he can overcome great obstacles and fight alongside those who were out to get him. I hope this saga continues with more installments as these are awesome reads.
My son and I read this book together and we both enjoyed it. He loves Minecraft and reading so this was perfect. I liked the perseverance it teaches kids. We will definitely be recommending this to his friends and looking for the others in the series.
My 10 year old son loves this series, and Path of the Diamond was no exception. Giggles abound when reading about Runt's adventures. I'm also reading through the series with my 7 year old who is able to read the books on his own (and has completed through Book 3), but also loves to read aloud with me.
