OMG I loved this book, the characters, the location, the mobsters...it had everything. I loved Emma and Chase as a couple and it was brilliant to watch them navigate their feelings for each other as well as deal with possible mob hits, threats and corruption. The secondary characters were just as well written as the main ones, especially Todd. Honestly I just loved this book 5*****
Chase was a science who was determined to save the world. He studied climate changes and their causes and he had no time in his life for anything else.
Emma left her Cape Cod home for the big city, New York. She thought she found everything she wanted until there were mobsters, deception, corruption and death threats. This was not what she had signed up for and how did she become so trapped in this web of lies. Would she ever be able to untangle herself from them?
She literally ran into Chase Anderson on the street corner in the small hometown, P-town. there was an instant attraction but could there be more than just the moment for them?
This was a sweet romance. I loved their story. My one criticism was some of the language and the descriptive sex scenes. I could have done with out those distractions to the story.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
