Daniel’s mother, Laura is a little over protective and unsure of Cherry, but she sees how happy her son is, and allows herself to accept the young woman. But Cherry is up to no good, and it’s not long before Laura sees the truth. It comes down to a battle of wills between two women for the soul of one man. There is no ambiguity here – Cherry is a nasty piece of work and reading this novel is like eating peanuts – you won’t be able to stop
