I adore Kate Shugak, and re-reading this has reminded me why. A fabulous, strong and complex female lead, an immersive sense of place, and a well-plotted mystery, with a multi-layered sense of background. I have a few gaps in the series to plug, which is exciting to know. I feel that I may need to give in to a binge-reading urge, and carry on in sequence through the whole lot...
