Description

In this Fifth title in Trinity Blacio’s best-selling Running in Fear series, the were pack meets and finds love with a dragon shifter vampire species.

Suzanne Butterfield wanted an alpha male of her own.  It was hard to admit that she was jealous of what her friend Tonya had; a man who knew how to control her life, worship her body and make her submit. Of course it helped that Tonya’s man was an Alpha of his werewolf pack, built like a tank, and tall as a mountain.

Dominic Hazelfield, a vampire king and dragon shifter, was a true master, not only to his vampire kingdom, but also in his BDSM club. By opening this club, Dominic believed he would finally find his true blood mate, that she would just walk into his den and submit her body and soul to him.

Archer Morganthe, Clan leader of the Florida Everglades Vampires, was a loner; only his right hand man knew of his longing for Dominic. When he finally had him within reach, Archer found himself surrounded by Dominic's allies as well. He didn’t know how he was going to survive with so many around him, but somehow he would live to protect his mates.

Granger Iceshard, or as many called him--the Ice Man, listened to no one, claimed no clan. Always a ladies’ man, Granger was confused by his body’s overwhelming desire towards the men around him. The only problem was when he was confused, it made him dangerous.

Blair Wellworth was a Vampire warrior and wizard, and could shift into any animal. Only his family knew of his secret, but when danger threatened one of their Kings, Blair opened his closed heart for the love of his companions.

As danger loomed closer, the five came together, not only to protect each other, but also to prepare for what the Goddess of Vampires, Empusa, has warned them about -- the war between good and evil.

This is the 5th book in the Running in Fear series. While it could be read alone, it is SO much better when put in place in the series. Suzanne has had a really hard life. But she has come through everything with a caring heart and a spine of steel. She has a soft heart that puts others first. She has learned to kick butt, and defend those that need it, giving to others before she does for herself. I could not get over how Suzanne took her past and made it something that helps others,. She shares her story with others so they can see that there is hope for them. She doesn't shy away from danger.

The heros are ALL MALE! Hot hunky alphas with little clue of how to be mates to their little human. They make mistakes, but do their best to make it right with Suzanne ASAP.

I laughed, cried, raged and fell in love with this book. It is a SMOKING HOT book! I wIll be rereading this book immediately. There are some answers, and even more question! Seriously, this series is a mythical, ménage, paranormal, sci-fi, shifter, romantic, comedy/horror, epic adventure!! And I can't wait to see where it goes next.

While an epic battle between good and evil is coming, and the knowledge that all races will be exposed to humans, and Earth hangs in the balance. Women who have been abused and mistreated in ways that would break most others, are finding strong heroic men. Men who not just love and care for them but would gladly kill or die for them.

Thank you Trinity Blacio!! You made my day with this book.

I wish we didn't have to wait for Ghost Warriors: Book 6 in the Running in Fear series. But I'll be here when it comes out!

This is a fast-paced read with lots of drama and suspense. Susanne is a great character and so many sexy, hot alphas. The story grips you from beginning to end and the sex is off the charts hot. I loved it!

This is the 5th book in the running in fear series. This book is centered around Suzanne and her mates. There is a war that will involve humans and supernaturals. There is a lot of bdsm in this book. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

This is book 5 in the Running in Fear series. OMG!!! This is my favorite book of them all! (At least so far) I thought the others were good but this one was great. Part of the story line is a continuation of a war that is coming. But the rest of the book is a story all on its own. We meet Dominic, the King of Vampires. He is at his club with his 2 male companions, Archer and Granger. We get to meet his female companion, Suzanne, as she walks in with her 2 friends. These 4 people are going to help Remi and his people lead the war against the evil on Earth. So all this happens in a short time but wow, there’s a lot happening because as time goes on, they meet up with another companion, Blair. We have hot, hot dragon sex going on here, people! We have more than that though. There’s Suzanne’s trauma growing up to get through along with all the bad things going on. But the dragon sex makes up for all the bad stuff happening. Yes, it’s really that good. I think you can tell that I really loved this book! Oh, yeah. There is male, male sexual contact so be warned if that’s not your speed. But the dragon sex is worth it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley. Remember that dragons are hot!

The storyline definitely keeps you coming back. I hated the fact that this book abruptly ended before there was a confrontation with Granger's stepmother and brother. Obviously this will be addressed in the next book, but was a bit aggravating.

overall liked and enjoyed this book. characters felt well balanced, plot was interesting and moved steadily (if on occasion too easily & quickly resolved). heroes all tough alphas but had softness & caring willing to show to their mate (and admit when they screwed up which was nice too), heroine wasn't a push over but stood up for herself when needed. other than the heroine (a little bit of the one hero) there was no back story given other than what was in the blurb so your a little dumped into the story at first though it doesn't take long to be pulled in. (though some of that background info in the blurb doesn't seem to impact the story all and ends up feeling like excess info). while the story seems to end a little abrupt with a bit of a cliff hanger feeling as far as the series and secondary characters go, the relationship featured in the book feels solid and satisfying overall.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. This is the 1st book in this series/author that I have read. I thoroughly loved this book. It is so well written that it keeps your attention and your anticipation as to what happens next. Suzanne is the fated mate to Dominic, Granger and Archer who are vampires with a dragon shift. The book is full of action, drama, a pending war and last but not least sex. You have to read the book to appreciate it. I am not a fan of cliffhangers but I enjoyed this book so much I got the first book to read and if it reads as good as this one, I plan on reading the series. I would highly recommend this book.

This series is getting to the big final showdown and I am so glad I have all the books in the series (I hope) so I do not need to wait months to continue reading. I am beyond excited to read on.

4 Vampire/Dragons male companions/ mates have met their perfect human female mate/companion.
I've read the first 4 so I'm continuing one the series. The only thing I didn't like was the parts that distance sound complete, a bit confusing but it was easy to get around. Remi, Dane, Mark and Jaycee will show up a few times throughout and will be there in the story towards the end and so will Remi's brothers Perrier and Adonis. They will be shocked to find their new life and that will have in book 6 is also Perrier story and that of his own Mates. Sorry to say Jaycee was never his mate :(( but is new female mate has even sad and painfully past that will have a connection to both Savannah and Jaycee.

OK - I have been reading this series out of order. I read 6 a couple weeks ago, which had Suzanne already with her guys. This was nice reading how they got together. Suzanne had been abused as a child but wanted what her friends had. She had the guts to go to the Dragon's Den (a BDSM club) to see if she could find a man who would control her body and cherish her at the same time. She didn't expect to have 4 mates. Since I already know how they get along, it was fun seeing the beginning. I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review and I recommend this series if you like hot sex, multiple partners, brave women and strong relationships.
