Description
Getting stuck in an elevator with her sexy, bad-boy co-worker she’s been
lusting after is not how Victoria Collins planned her Friday evening.
And you can bet that the mind-blowing sex with a virtual stranger was
also not on her agenda. Despite the danger, Victoria soon falls under
Joe’s spell and releases Vicki, her inner-sex vixen.
Joe
Bradshaw is a man used to getting what he wants, both in life and in
business. But the one thing he can’t find is a woman strong enough and
open enough to touch his heart. When he starts his next freelance
contract and meets Victoria, he senses the sexual powder keg behind the
drab clothes that cannot even begin to mask her fire and beauty.
Can Vicki forge past scars, and present danger, to allow her to open her heart and free her passionate desire for Joe?

Holy Smokes totally liked this romance. Marie Tuhart has written a winner.

Sexy clever love story
As always Marie Tuhart did not dissapoint. There was a solid storyline with characters you rooted for. I loved how Joe helped Vicki find herself again after hiding her more adventurous feminine side from the world because of her abusive ex.
The sex scenes between them were combustible.
This was a very satisfying read. I look forward to reading her next book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book which I received from NetGalley.

Wow! This story blew my away. I had not expected that. It is the first book I read from Marie Tuhart but absolutely not the last one!
She writes in an amazing captivating way. I love this very well written story. It is a sparkling gem that is marked as must read if you ask me.
That the theme is an office romance made me think that it would be as a lot of the other books within this theme but no! It has a lot of different aspects to it and that is why I loved this book.
It has it all; steaming hot scenes, alpha male, badboy, lots of emotions and chemistry, a stalker, drama, lack of trust, passion, pasts to struggle with and a lot more. I love the banter they have between them.
I just had to read all through this book in one day just to find out what happens next and how it ends.
I can only recommend it to others that like to read romance novels with an edge.

Passionate Desire is a steamy office romance. Victoria is a woman who's been damaged by her past relationship. She's not looking for love or a relationship, no, she shies away from any contact with men, especially her coworkers. But there's one colleague whom she can't help but fantasize about, Joe, he with the bad boy attitude, the leather jacket and the helmet under his arm. One steamy tryst in a stalled elevator later, and she finds out that he's just as attracted to her as she is to him. But, how can she possibly let it happen again, knowing what an office romance ended up doing to her at her last job?
As Joe endeavors to get the real Vickie to come out and play, they dive headlong into a passionate affair and they're falling fast for each other. But, Vickie doesn't just have scars from her past relationship, her past is still haunting her, stalking her, actually, and doesn't seem to be letting up. He's getting worse, and Vickie is determined not to let her past touch Joe and what they have together.
Passionate Desire was a surprise to me, in a good way. It's got far more depth than I had been expecting. It's seriously sexy and steamy, but both Joe and Vickie are characters with substance, and that was a surprise. Office romances have a tendency to be steamy but with little depth either to the story or to the characters. That isn't the case here. No, it's well written, with the usual requisite steam, but emotional and character depth that is necessary in a good romance. This definitely won't be the last of Marie's books that I read.

'Passionate Desire' by Marie Tuhart is the story of Victoria 'Vicky' and Joe.
Vicky has a no coworker relationships after a past mistake of sorts. But she if finding that rule hard to stick to with Joe who just started working at the same company.
Joe has no such rules and he knows what Vicky is trying to play down with her looks and attitude. Joe wants some of that which she hides. Their cat and mouse game comes to a head when he gets on the elevator with her and it stops. But what does start is their physical reaction that Vicky has been trying to ignore.
This book does have a little more to the story than just the 'Office Sex' type story and I did enjoy it. I hope to read more books by Ms. Tuhart.

A great introduction to this author. I loved it and want more from this author. Great book.

Fantastic book! Another new to me author and I am wowed! The fire and energy sizzling between Joe and Vicki was gripping from the first moment! This book grabbed my attention and kept me engaged from start to finish! Awesome 👏

Woman who’s been hurt before tries not to fall in love with guy at work, even though her lust for him is so great she lets him do her while stuck in an elevator.
I can’t think of much to say here, and that’s a problem. I’ve read other books where the protagonist is damaged, but this one goes a lot further psychologically in her reactions; I’m not saying it’s not realistic, as I’m sure that kind of thing happens, but the fact she’s otherwise an intelligent individual makes it harder to take. The ex/stalker storyline feels tacked on, but then without it there’d be no story, no motivation. . . no reason for him to have to overcome her damage in order to win her. It is indeed thin on plot, and the characters are okay, if bland. Just feels like there’s nothing special; even the sex scenes were unmemorable.

Vicki’s life has been a nightmare since her former boyfriend began stalking her. She’s been afraid to get into another relationship due to Derek’s threats, but Joe makes her forget all about her fears. This book is HOT, HOT, HOT! You will be on the end of your seat until the end to find out what happens to Vicki and Joe. This was my first book by this author but it will not be my last!
