Description
A new Regime arose from the ashes. The aftermath of World War III forced the world dictatorship that Cali Nasser must now live in. They demanded obedience from every citizen, even in matters of the heart.
One nation under his reign. In Cali’s eyes, the moral code revolves around a twisted plot for control.
It used to sicken Cali how people would allow the Regime to test their love through the Temptation Trials. Her entire point of view changes when she meets Kincade, and falls for him. Cali struggles with herself, debating if she should challenge the government’s law of arranged marriage.
Cali’s childhood friend, Stefani, always kept a positive perspective about their lives until she is threatened with the same dilemma, at odds over the man she loves.
Now Cali and Stefani face a desperate choice—submit to the Regime’s will, or fight for love. Although lust, mistaken for love, could lead to damnation. Do they give up on love or sign up for the Temptation Trials, a reality TV show where every temptation is laid before them?
The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Can love save their souls?
Advance Praise

Reality tv show in a dystopian world...Hot men...Temptation...Trails....What an amazing, wonderful book..., June 25, 2017
By Nancy Allen (The Avid Reader)
I will have to say that I enjoyed reading Temptation Trials way more than I thought I would when I read the summary and after reading the summary I knew I had to read it. The world that the author has created for Temptation Trials is umm how do I say it? Well it is just out of this world amazing. I loved the concept of having a reality tv show in a dystopian world. And the characters are just as amazing.
Now this is one book I would very much love to see on the big screen to bring all that goodness to life to see if it would be anywhere close to what I saw in my head when reading it.
But I do have to say that the ending just blew me away. I was like no way…you can’t do that to me. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens. I just can’t seem to get Temptation Trials out of my head. You know like when you hear a song and it sticks with you for days well that is what it has been for me since I laid it down well I guess I haven’t exactly laid it down yet then. Hey but that is a good thing though, you know what I mean?
If you have not read Temptation Trails then I would like to suggest that you do. You will not regret it if you a good romance mixed with dystopian.

A Great New Sexy Dystopian Story, July 25, 2017

After World War III the world is now controlled by a dictatorship. This dictatorship controls everyone’s lives including who they will love. The only exception to this is if you are willing to take part in a reality television show called Temptation Trials. Essentially the couple get split up on separate islands full of sexy people that are trying to get you to cheat on your love. But this is no simple test of love, you have to date and raging hormones are not going to help keep you true to your love.
Initially the story catches you up on what is happening in this new dictatorship and those that want to rebel.
No one has successfully made it through the Trials but Cali and Stef just know that they will make it. But this is a rigged game.
This story is well written and filled with lust. I really liked the concept of the dictatorship ruling everything about your life and giving people a chance at making themselves a fool in front of the world for their true loves, especially when no one has successfully won the Trials. But I have to say following the girls did get frustrating since it seemed that they took every chance that was bound to be difficult instead of thinking through their actions.
Of course the book stops with some unanswered questions. I did enjoy the story and I would like to see what happens in book 2 and what the answers to those questions that are left open will be.

Interesting new series, June 5, 2017

Temptation Trials is a well written book by B. Truly. It is a unique concept that follows 2 couples who will do everything to be together. Sadly in this post World War III world there are only arranged marriages and no more love marriages, except if you can survive the temptation trials. They finally decide that it is their only hope.
The book follows a good pace and has some twists hidden within, however some were to me at least a tad obvious and I did see them coming. There was one, that I was not fully revealed in the end and I am curious to see what that secret is about and what will be revealed in the next book about it.
The 2 couples are interesting characters and seem to complement each other quite well. I think having a friend in these trials does help them having a chance to get through these trials. I am curious to see where this story will go and will definitely pick up the next book when it comes out.

The Temptation Trials Part 1 was very entertaining to read. The main thing I like about this book was the vivid language. The colorful language helps you visualize each scene as if you were experiencing it yourself. The character development and interaction between the characters made this book a page turner- in my case, a thumb stroller. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. This book doesn’t focus on one character’s perspective. It switches between the two main girls in the story; Stefani and Cali. The ending left me with a lot of questions. Which is something I don’t like when reading stories. The ending wasn’t enough for me. It was a little dull. But, it doesn’t ruin the story as a whole. I still want to know what happens in Part 2; which comes out in December 2017.
From my point of view, the book read smoothly. I didn’t notice any errors. I was too involved in the story to notice such small details if there were any errors. It does seem that the book was professionally edited. The author states that she had a writing editor named Laura Kenney.
I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. Overall, This book was great and I enjoyed reading it. I feel as if others will as well. I am open to read any type of book and out of all the books I have read, this one is in the top 10 of my list and yes I keep track of the book I read. The 4 out of 4 rating is not biased. A good book is a good book.

Temptation Trials by B. Truly is a mind blowing romance novel, it basically keeps pulling you in. The plot and story line, I think was very well thought out. Although at some point I felt it was a little too fast paced, it still turned out lovely. And of course it had those little twists here and there. B. Truly’s attention to detail is remarkable. Of course you will have those moments where you would laugh and won’t want to stop or you want to cry or will just think “Really”. I was also very pleased with the shift from one point of view to the other. I think this book really allows you to feel what each of the characters feel. But at times there was a little confusion about who Cali or Stefani were corresponding with. Aside from these Temptation Trials is a book to read. All I can say not to give anything away is neither of them thought it will happen to them.
Just so you know you will receive a cliffhanger at the end. This will definitely keep you at the edge of your sit and at the tip of your phone s waiting for the next book to know what happens. Honestly am really excited I picked this book to review and believe me when you read it you won’t be disappointed either. B. Truly has outdone herself with this piece and she deserves a standing ovation.
I’m giving this novel 4 out of 4 stars because, the book was well written with no mistakes. The setting and characters were absolutely marvelous. If you are looking for a good read I definitely recommend this book. I can’t wait for part II.

5/5 lust-filled stars
I have never read a dystopian tale like this before! After World War III, a world-wide dictator has come to power. In this bleak future the people aren't allowed to make the most important decision in their lives--who to love. At age 21 the government matches you with whomever they feel will suit you best. If that person is on another continent, you pick up and go, leaving family and friends behind. There is only one way to avoid an arranged marriage--agree to go on a government-sponsored reality television show called the Temptation Trials.
The couples are separated. The guys go to one island, the girls to another. Each island is filled with beautiful and seductive people whose sole purpose is to tempt the contestants to be unfaithful.
I liked both the women. Their boyfriends and the two island tempters are great too. It was hard to make up my mind who to root for.
By the end of the story, the women and the island tempters realize they have all been played. Can love save their souls? Not likely.
They learn you can't sin your way to righteousness, and doing the "right" thing the "wrong way" never works out.
I threw everything into the kiss, not knowing if it would be our last, or are future.
The story ends in a cliffy. B, hurry up and publish the next installment.
