A sweet story, that kept me reading without putting it down for long. Rylee, a young woman, has moved back to her small town Texas area, after she inherits her aunt's old farmhouse. She left an ex-fiance and a busy life in California to come back. She is bubbly and positive about life, and basically draws people up. In walks Wyatt, who answers her ad for a handyman, to fix up the house. She wants to open it up as a B&B, but needs help with the major projects. Wyatt has had his heart broken, after his wife died from cancer, and he left his home in Oklahoma, and is aimlessly wandering, and fits right in. I like them together, and their interaction is fun. Naturally they have to come to grips about their pasts, and work through, but of course there will be a HEA. I highly enjoyed this book and happily give it a 5 star rating. Good read and author.

Unique take on dealing with health issues. In this case, the author tackles the good, bad, and ugly world of cancer. Kylee deals with the aftermath of her brush with death due to breast cancer while Wyatt deals with his own difficulties after the loss of his wife from cancer. These two hurting souls need each other more than they know. But only by being willing to open their hearts will their struggles be worth it all.

Loved it. I was immediately caught up in Rylee's life. Many amusing moments and a few heart-breaking ones. A delightful romance, which I devoured in one day. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. I will be looking for more from this author, including under her other name.

Rylee catches Wyatt's eye with her ad for a "husband wanted" who can help her fix up her old house and make it into a bed and breakfast. He is running from heartache and Rylee makes him feel like life is worth living again. That is until he learns something about her that forces him to face his biggest fear head on.

I truly enjoyed this book. It was a nice love story with just a little bit of conflict, but not filled with endless angst. The characters were real and people I could see myself being friends with.

My thanks to Wild Rose Press and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book and give my unbiased opinion on it. I recommend and hope to read more books by this author in the future.

Husband Wanted Ad posted by the sister of a local sheriff did not set well! Rylee was about to get an earful from her brother, but when someone applied for the position he was out there in a flash to see what she had gotten herself into!,
Oh, my but this lady is causing a ruckus, but Wyatt is more than happy to help out by coming to her aid because he needs a major distraction in his life right now. He is wanting to find his way back out of a dark hole and wants to work hard and if this lady has the opportunity for him then he is her guy.
Rylee and Wyatt are about to set off some major drama in this particular part of the country and more than one person is going to be fit to be tied about this pair working on this house and property!

The author has done a wonderful job in keeping the readers focused on the issues of the characters and the flow of the book just glides right along! I love how the characters grow and develop together and not independently.
I definitely would recommend this book to anyone to read.

Thank you to the authors and publishers who work diligently for us the readers.

I received an advanced copy from NetGalley and these are my willingly given thoughts and opinions.

Husband Wanted by T. D. Jones

Rylee Philips learned the hard way that you need to live each day to the fullest. That’s why she came back home to turn the inheritance off her aunt’s old homestead into a bed & breakfast.

This was a well-written plot with lifelike characters. It included grief that turned into a love story and how to live again. Enjoyed it very much. Couldn’t put it down.

Thanks to Net Galley for sending me. An advanced reader’s copy for review.
