Description
Three old geezers, activists, and lifelong friends reunite at the funeral of the wife of one of them, Antoine, who finds out about a long ago liaison between his dearly departed and the reviled billionaire who owns the factory they all worked in. Livid, Antoine jumps in his car and heads for Italy with revenge on his mind, his two buddies and his pregnant granddaughter following close behind. A chance to reminisce about the past, to fantasize about sticking it to the man, to discuss what’s wrong with the world, to bridge the generation gap, to forgive and forget and settle scores. A wickedly funny geriatric road trip!

What a fabulous graphic novel which ends with a cliff-hanger. I cannot wait for the next installment. Beautifully drawn, the story is lovely and the characters well-drawn (both literally and metaphorically). What a charming and nostalgic novel.
This is an interesting way to tell a story, with old protagonists involved, as well as one very pregnant grandchild, trying to find the mystery of stolen gold, and a love affair, as they travel from France to Italy.
And guess what? Not too much gratuitous female nudity for once, from a European comic book writer. (I mean there are a few scenes where we see a nude back, and some of the women have some tight clothes, but not bad).
And we are left with a mystery, at the end, to be resolved, I take, in the future translations of this book.

Super fun to read and the illustrations are wonderful!! I especially loved the flashback scenes and the way they were presented with a coloration change segue. This needs to be read in physical form or on a table, not e-reader as it is in full color and so visually appealing.
