Description
In the final installment of the True Love series, we meet Rebecca, Melanie’s younger, supermodel sister at the surprising end to her modeling career. Inspired by her sister’s new marriage and beautiful family, she decides it’s finally time to make a change and dumps New York like a bad habit.
A handsome Scot, Wickham Dunmore, enters her life by chance. Can Rebecca see herself with a small-town firefighter after living the glamorous life in New York? He’s kind, gorgeous and loving, but he’s hesitant to have a physical relationship. Her self-esteem is shattered by the rejection. He begs for her understanding, but why does this intensely sexual man hold back?
Wickham can’t revisit the mistakes of his past, but he’s drawn to Rebecca in a powerful way. He must be honest with her about the man he once was and the man he aspires to be. He introduces her to his former self, and invites her to share a new sexual journey. Will Rebecca accept him once she finds out the truth or will she run back to the safe, familiar men of her past? Enjoy all the touching, funny and sensual moments of Rebecca and Wickham’s love.

A Model Romance is the third entry in the True Love series and I'm happy to say, it's much better than the previous two. Rebecca (sister of Melanie from A Love We Deserve) is nearing the end of her modeling career. Although she's nowhere near old nor has she lost her beauty, she's not a teenager anymore so she's been downgraded. So she takes herself off to visit her sister and new niece, Louise, and ends up loving the suburban life and loving her niece so much that she can't leave.
She has a few mis-starts on her way to a new, fulfilling life, but when she meets Wick (Wickham), she's pretty sure the hot Scot with the faint accent is the one. But, when he keeps himself curiously physically distant, how is she to take it? Is he just not attracted to her? Or is there something else going on with Wick that he just won't let her in on?
Although the pace was a little slow at times, I ended up liking A Model Romance, mostly because of Rebecca. She is an interesting and likable character, thank God. In the previous two books, I disliked the heroines, a lot, and loved the heroes. Here, both Rebecca and Wick are sweet, likable characters with a strong connection. I have to admit the whole Tantric thing was a bit outside my normal reading zone, and I still don't really get it nor am I particularly interested in it, but it was obvious that it means a lot to Rebecca and Wick, and I was able to appreciate that this entry in the series wasn't all about the physical connection like the previous two books are.
Although I can't say I enjoyed most of this series, I did like A Model Romance and it was a good conclusion for the series. If only Mine, Not Hers and A Love We Deserve were more like A Model Romance!
