This is an exciting story of legal drama and suspense.
Sophie is the perfect heroine.
Brave, courageous, determined.
I loved her from the first page.
Now she's going up against a big name gang leader. She's the lone witness in a double homicide, and this gang member has her in his sights....
Lots of action, suspense, and drama...if you enjoy legal drama you won't want to miss it!
If you ever need a security guard, then Cooper is your guy. Trust me, you'll feel the same way before you even get to the end of this story! I don't know how Dylan thought of Cooper and his friends, but they sure are loveable. It seemed destined that he and Sophie would come together in this book, and I think they suit each other perfectly.
Sophie is such a strong woman, and a great role model for many. At time, she let her stubbornness take over a little too much, but thankfully Cooper was there to pick up the pieces. Working in a bank myself, I found this storyline very interesting. And while there is a good bit of lawyer talk, and court discussions, not once do you feel like you don't know what's going on. Dylan takes her knowledge of the court system and brings it to the readers level in a way that is still suspenseful and true to life, but easy for a reader to follow. She must be a force to reckon with in the courtroom!!
Dylan as a way to bring action and suspense into these storylines that are so intense, and yet seem so realistic in their unusual storylines. I mean who would think that there would be anything to worry in a case about a banker cheating some customers? I sure wouldn't. But Dylan brings it to life and makes it believable. It just amazes me.
This is such a fantastic series that I do not want to see end any time soon. But if it does, that just means there's something else out there Dylan's working on and I look forward to that!! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
