A Dragon to Tame

Enjoyed this book. Wished I had read the first book or had a little more background on the world painted in this story but still was a very enjoyable sci-fi action romance. Will be looking for more.

While this is book 2 in the series, you really don't need to read book one but it does make references to events in book 1. I actually thought that this book was much easier to understand than book 1.

I really had a hard time liking Rion to start with as he had so many secrets that he was keeping from Marisa. I really hated that he slept with Marisa and let her think that they could have a relationship when in his mind that would never happen.

As the book progressed, you can finally feel that Rion is seeing that Marisa is just more than a pawn that he can use to free his planet. Yet, while he finally realizes that he loves her, he still won't allow an offworlder as his wife.

There are a few twists in the story but I kind of suspected the identity of the traitor, and there was all the times that Rion and his father worked to change the history when they got their "flashes." Kind of interesting that in keeping his son safe, Rion's father allowed his planet to fall into enemy hands.

How funny the way that the only way to stop the pain when in dragonshape was Marisa's emotional state and that great sex was needed so often!

Loved the help that Merlin gave and the final appearance of Merlin was a surprise but I guess it should not have!!

Really looking forward to the next book in the series - now I am really hooked!

This is a great book, that is action pack with romance and love between two people. I’m looking forward to read more from this author.

Hot and steamy works for this book. Susan did it again. Amazing plots, characters and adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed the dynamics of each character in this book. I am eager to read more.
