Description

Missiles and Mistletoe is a WWII adventure story laced with romance.  It is based on an actual spy episode with added fictional elements. The Americans send a mission to capture scientific data from a Nazi research facility located in Italy.  The team encounters competition from an unlikely source.

The research developed at the Nazi lab is critical to the war effort.  It presents a solution to the problem of not being able to guide a missile to an intended target.  If the axis powers had implemented such an

ability the war may have had a different ending.

The story has many twists as it follows the adventures of the mission team and others who join them along the way.  In the midst of the turmoil more than one romantic encounter develops, proving that love can happen in the oddest places and at the strangest of times.

author_bio: Dr. Morreale was born and raised on the lower east side of Manhattan.  Before retiring he served as a teacher, principal and  school district administrator.  He resides with his wife on the eastern end of Long Island NY.  Missiles and Mistletoe is his third book publication.
