Elisabeth and her twin sister traveled back to 1515 Scotland via the ghost of Black Douglas. A 21st-century doctor, Elisabeth is gaining renown as a healer, but also raising suspicions of witchcraft… When Elisabeth is called to the castle of the Earl of Kinloss, Devan Murray, to aid his sister through a difficult birth & she arrives too late, Devan loses his sister & blames Elisabeth for the death. Devan accuses Elisabeth of witchcraft & refuses to let her leave his castle. But while he blames Elisabeth for his recent woes, Devan is also attracted to the enigmatic healer, which increases his guilt.
