Description
Millions of readers have fallen in love with Ava's bestselling books...come join the family.
International Bestselling Author Ava Miles shares an emotional tale about a woman’s quest to reunite her family and make a patchwork quilt of happiness out of her own happily ever after.
Riley Thomson believes every woman can be her own superhero.
When he meets Sadie McGuiness, he’s even more sure of it.
The sassy quilter might not fight good and evil, like he depicts as a comic book artist, but she leaps tall buildings in a single bound. He sees it in her brave quest to locate her long-lost sister and the way she champions his motherless daughter. It’s not just her superhuman strength he’s attracted to—it’s the strength of her heart. She stitches together the different blocks of her life with love, much like the magical quilts she creates. Soon he’s modeling his new female superhero after her.
As Sadie and Riley create their own patchwork of happiness, dark forces from their past return to test them. Can they battle them together to ensure a happily ever after for them and the rest of their family?

Great installment in the series! I love this family and how they are with each other! Just the way a family should be! Not perfect, never perfect.....but there for each other just the same!
I was given an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I have read a number of books by Ava Miles and enjoyed them, so was excited to be able to read this one.
Sweet, romantic and emotional, this book was a good read. Loved learning more about all the characters as they featured in earlier books in the series. Definitely can be read as a standalone.
4 stars
The Patchwork Quilt of Happiness like all books by Ava Miles will cause your emotions to run the gamut. Sadie and Riley’s story especially will bring more than one tear to the eye. Sadie the quilter and worker at the local fabric store has always been an endearing supporting character so it is wonderful to see her find happiness with a special man.
The story draws you in and holds on to you. It is one of family drama, acceptance, healing and understanding what the word “family” really means. The characters, grown-ups and children, will become loved friends. So while you are glad to see them find love, you just hate to see the story end.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for a honest review.
3 1/2 stars
This is my first Ava Miles book, I found the story interesting but a little to0 sweet. I love “sweet” stories but this book did not keep me interested. There were some great ideas but the overall story line just didn't keep my attention. I didn't find Riley or Sadie all that interesting, I wanted to but something was missing for me. I did love Riley's daughter Jess, she made me smile but even the angst that happened towards the end, with Jess's mom, and the decision Riley made was not enough to save this story for me.
