Description

An antique ivory locket catapults Aimee Reynolds back to the year 1847.  Alone in St. Louis, Missouri, she has to find a way to get home to present day Seattle. She needs a suitable male willing to marry her or be left behind when the emigrant train departs for the Oregon Territory.

I found this book to be a full journey with ups and downs. The leading man annoyed me at moments but I still loved him. The leading lady, Aimee, grew a lot threw her journey. I imagine any modern day woman who somehow got sent back to the past would struggle on the Oregon Trail like she did. The end made me both happy and very sad.
