This book was a bit of a surprise packet for me, a thriller with a dash of suspense and a historic romance all rolled into one. Not generally a historic reader I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The character development and the story were well written and thought out. I have not read this author before, but I have to say after reading Perilous Love by Jan Selbourne I will definitely be looking to read more of her books and recommending her to others.
