"I liked “COIL/STRIKE: A Revolutionary, Enlightened Approach to Improving Your Golf Game - Reader Qualifications Required.” by Dr. Phairway Phil as this is a very entertaining read and there’s lots of humor in this book as well as a new approach to golf.
The book begins with first getting your attention and then getting into your mind to open up to read what he has to say. The humor at the beginning of the book relaxes the reader as this intelligent author wants you to be open to his suggestions on a revolutionary approach to the game of golf and does a great job doing that.
I liked the part about reminding the golfer about the “chin being the rudder for all that weight under your neck” and to coil your body under your chin. I know I forget this fundamental principle often, yet he stresses this as well as the importance of the chin and the “chin-cock”. It gets better and better as once you have done the chin routine, he instructs you for some hilarious and but truly revolutionary exercises in your own bedroom showing you how to coil and keep your chin pointed at the ball.
I could go on and on but recommend you read this novel approach to the game of golf. This learned author stresses the fundamentals in a way that have not been expressed before as far as we can tell.
