A good collection of three historical romances. I enjoyed each selection. The author is new to me and I will probably read more of her books.
I enjoyed Fate Comes Softly as it is an Historical Romance book first of all. I really liked the main characters, especially Ethan as he never judged anyone by their past, he was a good man all around. Liberty had her share of being mistreated and abused, which left her thinking she didn't deserve him. It is a very touching story and deals with pain, but also love, and understanding. I haven't read the second story in the book, but I plan to today. I know little about this author as I haven't looked her up, but she will be one I will put on my list of authors to read for sure. Very glad I got this opportunity to read Fate Comes Softly. Thank you. .
Fate Comes Softly by Loretta C. Rogers is a collection of three love stories that will keep you enthralled throughout the reading.
Saving Liberty is a story of a woman who survived great emotional and physical abuse and survived to become stronger. It is set in the old west. She is left alone on the trail, snake bit and, fortunately for her, found by a hunter and trapper who takes her to his home to heal. Ethan and Liberty become closer as she heals but what will she do now that she is not headed west?
Isabelle and the Outlaw is the story of Isabelle Landers after she abandoned by her fiancé. It is set in 2007 and is a bit of fantasy and time travel. Isabelle teaches history and is fascinated by the old west. She decides to travel to England for a vacation after her mother’s funeral. While there she steps through a fence and meets an outlaw who history has not decided whether he was truly an outlaw or innocent as he claimed. Can she help him clear his name and return to the present or will she lose her heart in the past?
McKenna’s Woman is set in the old west Audra Tadlock is bored with her life as a dressmaker and yearns for adventure. When she is kidnapped by a photographer who wishes to use her as bait to draw out an outlaw he wants revenge against her life will certainly become exciting.
I give this book 5 of 5 stars. Each story is unique and will appeal to wide audience. The characters are so diverse yet realistic. I felt I knew many of them well and hated the way some acted though they were true to character. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I received an advance copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
