Description
On the road to a bleaker future, is there still
a chance to get it right? This work of fiction uses historical information and
relevant news stories to draw a line from post 9/11 through the off-shoring of
IT jobs and the largest terrorist strike the free world has ever known to the
resulting nuclear war. By the year 2012 the U.S. will no longer be a world
power. The world will have seen many countries deploy nuclear weapons. Anarchy
will reign in many parts of the world and electricity will be considered a
luxury nearly everywhere. That, however, is not the interesting part of the
story. How we got there is a far more interesting tale indeed. Follow the story
from post 9/11 to where it all went bad and see if you can find a way out, not
just for yourself, but for everyone.

bluejellybean 1/24/2012 The
Preface states, "...this book is intended to be a wake-up call for both an
industry and a country." That, indeed it is. I enjoyed the honest and
stark style of writing and the fact that it is a work of fiction that brings in
current events. By exposing the past events of terrorism and nuclear war, it
brings to the forefront the possibilities that could ultimately cause the world
as we know it to come to compete anarchy and worse. This is a riveting novel
and puts in perspective the lives of North Americans compared to other nations
and gives us food for thought on how we want our country to run.
SweetEm 12/9/2011 Roland Hughes outdid himself when writing this novel. Infinite Exposure takes an interesting view on the events real life terrorists engage in to forward their agenda and how world leaders, whether privately or publicly, dealt with ceasing it. A very well researched, well thought out plot which played to present day tragedies, like the economic crisis. A true page turner. Well done!
Lynnoo 12/9/2011 Infinate Exposure by Roland Hughes tells a chilling story of how money, hate and technology are used to spread fear across a post-9/11 world. It is a well-written and fast-paced story that will make even the NON-conspiracy therorists raise an eyebrow or two. A chilling read for a chilly night!
3MMP 12/3/2011 Infinite Exposure is aptly named in my opinion. Roland Hughes has done a wonderful job writing this novel about international espionage. Everyone jokes about reaching an operator who barely speaks English, even Capitol One makes light of this situation with their ad campaign featuring ¿Peggy¿ but no one has really discussed what can happen from all of this information shuffling. Although this is a fictional book I feel that it touches upon a very real concern.
This particular novel revolves around Nedim your normal average person who needs money to purchase a computer in order to complete school. He receives a computer but what he must do in exchange for that computer is very troubling.
I must say that what I found most appealing about this novel is the way Mr. Hughes has told the story from many perspectives so that the reader can see how a normal person can get caught up with al-Qaeda.
