Description
Marine Alan Prescott has never encountered an obstacle he couldn’t adapt, adjust and overcome, or a woman he couldn’t seduce. After nine months in Afghanistan, he’s set his sights on the sexy brunette in the officer’s club bar in Key West. Air Force Colonel Anne Moss has come a long way from a scared, pregnant teenager. The only thing she loves more than her job, as a nurse midwife, is her daughter Brianna’s family. She has no time for a man, much less a young cocky Marine. But there’s the bet with her best friend--one kiss and she’d win a $300 bottle of scotch. Besides, what could a little flirting hurt? One man, one woman and a bet. What could possibly go wrong?

Stealth Maneuvers by E.J. Towler is a fabulous Military romance that keeps the reader engaged throughout the entire book. An interesting storyline, good world building, and characters Like Alan and Anne, make this an all round enjoyable read. I found myself becoming attached to Alan and Anne and completely invested in their journey, and enjoying the fun they had along the way to a deeper connection. Good books with plots that are easy to follow and a romance that makes the heart flutter…..readers need much more of these wonderful stories. Thank you Ms Towler for a lovely read, and keep `em coming!
Quite a refreshing change from the standard romance fare. I enjoyed the character interaction and the fact that things were not just automatically dropping into place. There was a sense of building tension and even frustration in the relationship development that isn't always as well done in books in this genre that I have read in the past. This definitely wasn't a too easy kind of thing. I loved the originality both in the plot development and the challenges the characters faced.
