The Z Team is a party of 3 middle schoolers who are clearly influenced by our remembered Buffy the Vampire Slayer (though here is named as 'Sunny the Monster Masher') in a light version of Eerie Indiana it seems.

The Zephyr Terminal is again the focus of supernatural problems, and the friends Chloe, Malik y Justin have to find it before something worst may happen to their close ones.

It's a cheesy adventure, with preteen and teens problems of homework, tests, and sisters not listening to younger siblings. And of course vampire lore thrown in the mix.


Despite not having read the first book in this series, I could understand perfectly the plot and what happened before.

Tres amigos que al parecer en la escuela , estan aburrido sporque ya paso su aventura con unos zombies (del libro anterior). Y , bueno ahora parece que hay vampiros en la vieja estacion de trenes. Se habla de ajos y estacas, y reflejos, y buena parte de las historias que conocemos por Buffy, inckluido el cigarro y la chaqueta de cuero , aunque aqui no hay precisamente eso.


Aventura de esas que se puede pasar absolutamente.


Romance? No (por lo menos entre los protagonistas, aunque las hermanas mayores salen a citas)
Malas palabras? No.
Cover? Too dark. No puede apreciarse porque es muy oscuro.
Las hojas del libro llevan globos de los mensajes enviados.

I wanted to love this but however I could not get into it. The concept sounded cool but It was a bit slow for me. I did not want to force my self reading it. I may have not been in the mood for it so I may come back to it later in a few months and give it a shot. SO based on that I am giving it 3 stars until I get my final thoughts on the book.

Chloe checked and Zephyr Terminal stayed dark. Weeks ago Chloe and her friends snuck into the closed train station. They had tracked spooky sounds, and a strange green light. In the terminal dispatch room, they’d turned a dial and a train showed up bringing a bunch of zombies to Bridgeside. Chloe and Austin sent the train back all on their own. They decided to call themselves the Z Team. Chloe saw a flyer in school about Colony Tours and it read see inside Zephyr Terminal. Learn History. Justine loved history and he had never heard of he company. Chloe said they had to take the first tour to investigate, Chloe said her older sisters would take them. Chloe reminded the boys when they set the train back they’d seen three shadowy shapes jump off. The tour guide was a teenager with an Irish accent. They went upstairs - the same steps Chloe had first faced a zombie. The dispatch door was locked- the guide said it wasn’t safe. Nothing happened on the tour. But at the end a teenage girl asked if anyone seen her friends, her phone wasn’t working. The Z Team knew their phones hadn’t worked in the terminal last time. The girl’s friends weren’t found, than Chloe and Justine noticed bats circled Zephyr Terminal. At school the kids talked about four missing teenagers, two from that first night of the tour and two more from town over the weekend. Justine said shadowy fast shapes , had been seen all over town since Thursday. Marlik said your thinking vampires came to town. Than Chloe’s sisters -Emily and Ellen had dates with the suspected vampires. Justin’s brother Charlie had been turned into a zombie for a day but the Z Team had found. a cure.

I couldn’t get into this book. Things just kept jumping around without an explanation. Things just stop jumping around without an explanation. Thus didn’t keep my attention. This book just wasn't for me. .

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it to everyone.

It was well write but was wasn't what we expected. It was a good read. I think that it is under talked about. I know kids would love this book. It is right up their alley. I thought that it was great for middle age but I could see younger wanting to be read it.
