Description
Welcome to Angels Falls, a charming small town where hope, friendship, and family leads an unlikely couple to their happily ever after.
Gabby Langdon has always tried to make people happy. She even went to law school to please her father, and now she's a highly successful-albeit bored-attorney. But Gabby secretly dreams of being a writer, so for once she does something for herself-she signs up for a writing class taught by best-selling novelist Caden Marshall. There's only one problem: her brooding, sexy professor is a distraction she can't afford if she's finally going to get the life she truly wants.
Recently divorced and suffering from the world's worst case of writer's block, Caden is in Angel Falls to get his life back on track. He's focused on teaching and providing a stable and loving home for his young daughter, Ava. The last thing he needs is to jeopardize his new job, which means keeping plenty of distance between himself and his talented new student-no matter how tempted he is by Gabby's beauty, kind heart, or the sparks that fly whenever they're together.

I was in the mood for a heartfelt swoon-worthy delight and this book didn't disappoint. I was about to feel something for characters and root for their love story. I could see myself as one of the characters and living their life. The realism touched my heart and made me want to read more by this author.
I love this series. I've been anticipating Gabby and her brother Rafe's book but, back to Gabby. Gabby is going through inner battles about her life. She isn't satisfied with her life at the moment, and always wanted to be a writer. So, she takes a class on writing, and none other than Caden this famous author is the teacher. They have chemistry from the first time they meet in the parking lot of the college. Cade is going through a rough time, trying to get his life together after a terrible divorce from his ex. She really put him through the ringer.
This story was good. I enjoyed it very much. I loved the story of the fountain and how it intertwines all the couples together. Wonderful story, I can't wait for Rafe's story.
This was a new to me author and I'm glad I took a chance!
I could relate to Gabby in so many ways. She is a woman who will do anything to make others happy even if it doesn't make her. She is someone who is searching for her "passion" but in the meantime doing what is expected of her. I admire all the classes she has taken to try and find that one thing that makes her tick. I'm glad she finally did and she isn't letting any negative comments stop her from trying to succeed.
My heart broke for Caden. He has been put through the ringer and because of this it has made him start to doubt himself and his abilities. Because of this, he has decided that instead of following his passion, he will do the more sensible and stable option. He has his daughter to think about and while I think this is an admirable trait, writers need their outlet and to stop I believe it hurts their soul.
I loved reading about theses two both trying to do the right thing with outside influences trying to sway their decision.
Meant to be by Alison Bliss
I have been a fan of Alison Bliss's for awhile. I have been waiting to get Brett's story.
This book did an amazing job and showcasing just how far Brett has come from a previous book. He had some serious anger issues that he needed to take care of. It almost resulted in his sister disowning him but it did make him lose the love of his life.
This story picks up a year later when the two of them meet again. Sidney expects that Brett will be the same man she left and wants nothing to do with him. Brett desperately wants to show Sidney that he has changed and with therapy he is still working on it.
What I loved most about this story was you could tell the love was still there between these two. It was a true case of the heart wants one thing but the head is telling them another. Reading about them reconnecting and falling back in love was wonderful to read.
