The Other Side of an Adoption is the story of a woman who wants to be a mother. Without a partner to fulfi¬ll her dream, this woman adopts Alba, a girl from Russia who brings joy and happiness to her new home. But what is supposed to be a dream little by little becomes a nightmare. Shortly after receiving Alba, the woman] meets a great man who becomes her husband and a father for her daughter. But Alba’s behavior grows worse every day. Her mother struggles to teach her the value of life. She suffers in silence the aggressions, the insults, the robberies, and the humiliations caused by her own daughter. She endures all this for the sole purpose of ensuring her daughter’s happiness and giving her the chance to have a full life. When she does not succeed, she must face a drastic choice.
