5.0 out of 5 stars Love -Hate February 7, 2019 Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase Love Addie mysteries, but hate that they are such a quick read. And that I have to wait for the next one!
5.0 out of 5 stars Short and awesome!! February 7, 2019 Format: Kindle Edition Another action packed book. Don't let it being short stop you from reading. You will absolutely love Addie and her BFF, Grey. They're hilarious. Can't forgot our hottie detective, Jonah. Meow! Trouble is always finding our Addie. She doesn't listen, at all, even if it's for her own good. She loves her dogs, and this book made me shed some tears because of one of her dogs. You can't go wrong with this awesome book. Read the first and then come devour the second.

Dyeing For Change by Kimberley O'Malley is the 2nd book in the Addie Foster Mystery Series, and another great addition. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next Addie Foster adventure. A fun, cozy mystery with plenty of twists and turns. I recommend this book as well as the first book Death Comes in Threes.
I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
A nice cozy mystery, well written and enjoyable.
Recommended!

It's fantastic finding an author new to me that I really want to read more of!
This might be book 2, but all the references to the earlier one makes certain that the reader not only doesn't get lost but wants to find the other just for fun. And fun is at the top of the list with this, not that the story line isn't good, but I'm here for the laughs just now. Don't miss this one!
I requested and received a free ebook copy from the publisher via NetGalley. Thank you!
This is a great story with a little mystery, some action and a dash of romance. Excellent characters and a great book with a quick-read size.
Such a fun, easy to read mystery with a little love interest thrown in. Would definitely recommend to friends for a good read.
I also posted this review on Amazon.
I loved this cute cozy mystery. It was a well written cozy mystery that was fun to read. I recommend it to others.
This is book two in the 'Addie Foster Mystery' series. It was a fun read with a great mystery and a small helping of romance. Highly recommended.
Fast and enjoyable read, perfect for a lazy afternoon or weekend.
A murder - mystery, with some flirty situations and unique characters.
Oh I how I loved this book! It is a short and sweet cozy with just the perfect amount of mystery and romance. I loved the characters and the fact they are so real life-like. The beauty salon setting is perfect and the mystery just enough. This is the second book in the series but don't shy away because of that, grab your credit card and buy the first book. Thank you netgalley for the gift of the arc. The opinions are my own.
The action starts fairly quickly. Addie goes in early to see her friend Diana who also comes in before opening to cut Addie's hair. Diana is killed and now someone is after Addie. Throw in a best friend who follows her into trouble, a Mr. Right, a Mr. Wrong, and a mysterious protector and Addie has her hands full.
The plot was fun as were the characters. This is the 2nd book in the series and it made me want to go back and read the first immediately! The dialogue was realistic and witty. I have definitely found a new must-read author. At the time of this review, this book is free on Kindle Unlimited. Free or not, I definitely recommend this book.
Thank you to Kimberley O'Malley, NetGalley, and Carolina Blue for allowing me the chance to read this book and share my honest thoughts and opinions with others.
Adele finds herself in a spot where she is dating Noah but there isn’t any chemical reaction and she is vastly attracted to Detective Jonah Wolfe. As a witness to her hairdresser friend’s murder, she soon found herself entwined more and more with her hunk, only to have death knocking on her door again. They have gone and done it now but hurt her little precious baby and for that Adele decided they must answer for their crimes but first staying alive and finding out why they killed her friend takes priority and of course establishing that overdue relationship with Jonah. I enjoyed this tale it kept me hanging like a fish on a baited line, nice.
When Addie turns up at the hairdresser’s for a special early-morning appointment, she finds her friend Gwen distracted and decidedly chilly, not the usual way for her to be at all. And then after Gwen disappears out back to take a delivery, but is absent for a rather a long time, Addie goes for a nose and finds her friend dead. This so isn’t good.
Addie is obviously at the heart of the enquiries. And heart is the right word since dishy Detective Jonah makes her heart do crazy things. This also isn’t good because she has a sweet and loving boyfriend, Noah.
Addie decides to investigate her friend’s murder, despite knowing that neither Jonah nor Noah will approve. Her loyal friend Grey gives a helping hand. We get all the misunderstandings, blunders and breakthroughs, both accidental and otherwise, that we expect to find in a light-hearted cozy like this one. And of course there’s that frisson of complicated romance running through.
This is a fast-paced, quick read that is totally delightful. Characters, settings and situations are beautifully created for us to immerse ourselves in. There’s lots of witty repartee and oodles of tongue in cheek humour.
Although the second in a series, the book works fine as a standalone, although, like me, you’ll be impatient for the next book when you’ve finished this one.
Short and sweet. When I first downloaded this book, I did not realise that it was the second of the series, and worried that I would not understand the commentary, however, despite references to past events the story was stand alone.
A well written short story, good description of the main characters, including the dogs!
Addie Foster, with dripping wet hair, wondered what was taking her hairdresser so long to let the delivery guy in but when she finally went to check what she found had nothing to do with a delivery. Now Addie finds herself running from murderers. Addie is also struggling with her love life. Boyfriend Noah is a kind, good looking doctor but there is no "zing." Whereas the detective working the murder case causes "zing" every time she sees him.
This story is a great mix of mystery and romance and chances are you'll find yourself cheering for the hot detective. I really enjoyed this story. It was fun, quick and easy to read. A nice afternoon of entertainment.
This is book #2 in the Addie Foster series by Kimberley O'Malley and it was even better than the 1st book! Both books are fairly quick reads and were hard to put down. Great characters, an intriguing cozy mystery (not graphic or intense), and this has the beginning of a romance. Addie owns a bookstore. She has an appointment with Gwen to get her haircut before work but it doesn't go well. One thing leads to another, and Addie is investigating another murder. Detective Jonah Wolfe is also investigsting. Looking forward to the next book. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley for an honest review.
