This book was enough magical, that it kept my interest till the end. There was a lot of paranormal themes to keep me engaged in the storyline. Romance was good, not perfect and since I was not aware of the fact the book was part of the series, now I wished I read her previous book simce the second was a very good read. 4.5 / 5 for me.

This was a pretty good story. I hadn’t heard of this author before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I found a new world with interesting characters that flowed really well. I will most likely go back and read the first book and will be looking out for the next one. I highly recommend.

Not having read the first book in the series I did worry that I might struggle.

I didn't need to worry though this story just drew me in.

The world building was wonderful and the characters were engaging.

A smashing Fantasy read.
