This is a sweet picture filled little book told in the voice of the dog, Anna or Annalisa. She tells how she was adopted by her mom and tells how cool her new life is in the country. Anna gives examples of things she loves about her new home, and shares about her best friends and some of the animals she doesn’t like as well. It’s really cute the way it gives voice to the dog and seems to be the way they think sometimes, just from the way they act and that makes it funny too.
So if you’re ready for a fun and silly quick read with animal pictures, this may be the book for you. It certainly made me smile and fall for many of the critters I met in the story. An advance electronic review copy was provided by NetGalley, author Ute Endler Anderson, and the publisher.
I loved the pic on the cover and I loved this story. It made me smile and was a light and entertaining read, a must read if you love animals.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
This is such a sweet story! If you love animals this is the book for you. Come meet Annalisa and her friends. I loved reading this book and looking at the sweet pictures. Thank you BooksGoSocial via NetGalley for the free copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
I loved this and can't wait to read it with my 4 year old daughter, who I know will get a kick out of the book being told by a dog. Plus, we have lots of animals and can really relate! Haha.
I also loved the pictures so much and the story was sweet and easy to read, which makes it a great choice for younger readers.
Annalisa is a long haired chihuahua that was adopted by a loving family. She felt bad about leaving her family but she finds an even bigger family on the farm.
BooksGoSocial and Net Galley let me read this book for review (thank you). It has been published and you can grab a copy now.
There are photographs of all the animals on the farm. From cats, dogs, goats and more there are plenty of animals to play with. She doesn't have time to be bored.
This is a pleasant picture book . It's about the life of a dog and the pictures are a pleasure to look at. Annalise got a good deal when this family took her home!
I love this sweet book. The Dachshund is my breed, I've had 7 of them!
This book is a keeper for me. It's a book I will treasure with my other
Dachshund books!
It is one of the sweetest books I've ever read. If dogs could talk they would talk our ears off. It will be a book I will share with my nieces and nephews.
