I have just finished Javi Takes A Bow by Elizabeth Gordon which I was lucky to read via Netgalley thanks to West44 Books. Javi is a boy who came to live in the USA from Guatemala after his papa died. As a way of coping and remembering his late papa Javi would play show tunes and it would be these show tunes that would make life a bit better. I loved this book so much and I can't believe that an 88 paged book could pack so many punches that it actually made cry as I really felt for the main character and not many authors can do this but Elizabeth Gordon certainly can so I am giving this book 5 stars.
