Description
Take one pretty chef with confidence issues…
Add one sexy restaurateur with blind ambition…
Untested recipes are always a risk … is this one worth taking?
She’s going to ask the arrogant hottie for a special favor…
Talia Madej, a personal chef, has kept a recent harrowing crisis secret from her friends and the local gossips in her small town. She has enough baggage to sink a ship which has crushed her confidence and makes her wary of men and relationships. The only way out of this is to start living again, and the first hurdle is to ask the new guy in town to help her get back in the game. Even if he is not her type, a cocky workaholic who always seems to be surrounded by beautiful women, he’s the perfect candidate because he’s temporary. He’ll be a short-term player in her long-term scheme.
He’s not about to refuse her and the intriguing offer she presents…
Peyton MacKenzie’s star is rising. A hotshot restaurateur in New York City who is used to putting himself first, he just has to get his newest restaurant up and running, and then he’s blowing this tiny bohemian tourist town and pursuing a huge career opportunity. But when the charming blond chef needs use of his commercial kitchen for her catering business, he surprises himself and doesn’t hesitate to say yes. And when she asks for something bigger with no strings attached, he’s definitely more than willing to oblige. Soon he realizes that simply being a pawn in her plan is not enough for him. He has to figure out how to hold on to her…forever.

Flawless is a standalone book in the Fearsome series. You will see characters from previous books as side characters in Flawless.
This is set in a smaller town where everyone knows everyone, and everything that's going on. You have that sense of extended family in Talia and Peyton's story with all their friends, the town folk as well as their own family members.
This book just drew me in from the very beginning. The writing is superb and kept me completely engrossed into all these people's lives. Despite the title, the characters are flawed. The reactions and situations are real.
Talia and Peyton are a couple who do struggle. It's not fairy tale easy. They have obstacles in their path and get in their own way a lot.
I will admit, I am a reader who prefer more fairy tale and less real, however, there was just something about the way their story was told that I still fell in love with this couple and all the people in their lives.
The ending had me feeling ready to see where else this author will take us next in the world of Hera.
I have read this author before but many years ago. I read the last book in the series about Cooper and really loved it so much and so I was excited there was a new book in the series. The first part of the book was kinda boring and not much happens. It builds the story and reminds you who all the characters are and how they are related and whats previously happened so it was kinda boring. But around 30 it picked up and I was totally addicted and fell hard for Talia, Peyton and the whole town of Hera again.
Peyton isin town running a restaurant with his best friend and his sister. He is planning on leaving and going to LA to run some restaurants for a big wig. Talia has just come back to town after 2 months visiting her father. At least that is what her friends think. BIG SECRET HERE I AM NOT SPOILING
Talia is a cook and runs a food delivery service/catering company and her kitchen has burned down aso Peyton and his sister who is friends with Talia offer her use of the kitchen and that is how T and P start to get to know each other and spend time together. I am not spoiling anything else.
Talia is a wonderful character and I truly LIVED Peyton. I did not like the big thing that happens midway in the story that introduces Harmony. But in the end I understood why it needed to happen for plot purposes. That really was my only complaint about this story.
Talia works as a personal chef and enlists the kitchen of a restaurant her friends own when a fire takes her kitchen. She meets the brother and manager of the restaurant and the attraction is fast. The romance is more slow building and meets many obstacles. There are many characters and the book takes it time to build the world that encompasses the lead characters. I loved this book and felt a loss when it ended because I knew I would miss these characters. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
What a Flawless story! The awkward and caring heroine was a perfect match for the charming, workaholic Romeo. Their arrangement was a deal made in desperation. Their love was unavoidable.
Flawless isn't an easy read. They don't have a hearts and rainbows relationship. It's real with ups and downs and a ton of "luggage." I absolutely adore Talia's strength and inability to see the humor in her language barriers. (She reminds me of my husband!) She sees it as a weakness but I only see her ability to overcome. I
While they might not be the "perfect, glamour " couple, these two have chemistry and heart. I think they are perfect. And if the ending has any hints, I know who's next in this series.
This was my first book by author S.A. Wolfe and now I can't wait to devour the other books in this series. Talia and Peyton's story is a wonderful read. The town of Hera is a place I wish I could visit! Even without reading the other books in the series you learn enough about the other characters so this is good as a standalone as well.
I had not previously read the other stories in this series and thankfully I didn't need to as Flawless could be read as a stand-alone.
I am a sucker for a slow-burning romance and Flawless gave me exactly what I needed. Humour, romance and explosive chemistry! The attraction between Talia and Peyton is undeniable and its a pleasure watching them grow together, despite their baggage and struggles.
A great read and a must read for anyone who enjoys the genre.
This book was everything. From the cover, to the words on the pages, just beautiful! I definitely plan on reading other books by this author.
My favorite author. This was a long wait coming but was so worth the wait.
As always her characters were awesome. The books revisits characters from other past books also.
I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to reread the series so i can re-live all the nuisances of the books as a whole
An Absolutely Beautiful Story .

It's well written has wonderful and unique characters truely an fantastic story . Talia Madej is a very strong and beautiful inside and out woman . She has worked really hard to support herself an her sister and mother . After her father up an ran out on them . Talia hasn't had an easy life after a medical issue that she keeps secret and the end of her engagement . Talias confidence needs a lift . She decides to ask the sexy Peyton McKenzie to help her out in more ways than just his restaurants kitchen . She knows he's only there temporarily atleast she tells herself that she just wants temporary . Peyton is a restauranteur in New York he doesn't plan on being in town long .
Soon the arrangement gets out of their control and emotions and feelings get involved . A lot of decisions need to be made and Peyton might need to think of others than just himself . This story is beautifully written . I think the characters are fabulous . An all out spectacular emotional journey . I was captivated from the beginning of the end . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Complementary copy given for honest review.
This book was fun, flirty and kept me on my toes. I loved the characters and their quest to figure out what life was meant for them. The author’s notes told of her personal experience and it completed the book.. Well done, Ms Wolfe!
Loved this story and it will definitely be one I will read again. This is a book in a series but can be read as a standalone. The characters are well developed and you feel connected to them throughout the story. The story keeps you engrossed and you can't (and wont) put it down.
I loved this story! It was very well written with great characters, and a little humor. Talia wants to hide her secret and thinks Peyton will be a steppingstone on her journey. The book was a little long but I enjoyed every page.
Many thanks to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
