Max and his friend Oscar are off on another adventure. This time they have discovered a mobile phone from 2017. Considering that the year is now 2424, this is quite a find. Of course, since the phone is so ancient, Max and his friends have no idea what they have found. However, after a bit of adventure, they can view photos on the phone. This, in turn, leads them on a merry chase in order to locate a statue, which in turn will net them quite the reward.

Short chapters and darling illustrations lead to a great chapter book for a beginner. Not only does it focus on technology in the future, it brings in current technology, as well. At the end of the book is the history of the cellular phone, which is interesting in itself. Readers will enjoy going on this adventure with Max, Oscar and their friends. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book.
