I  received a free digital copy of this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

This was the second book in the Creature Campers series and it just keeps getting better. I love the oddball characters, the illustrations and the story line.

I can't wait for the next one to come out! I'm excited to see what Barnaby Snoop gets up to and I'm curious if we will ever meet any other campers.

Young readers will immediately fall in love with the wacky cast of charming characters and goofy situations. Though I hadn’t read the first book, I was able to pick up on the book’s unique sense of humor, the relationship between characters, and follow the story without any problems. I can’t wait for more Creature Campers!

If you gift it to a young kid, they'll probably love it and rate it 5 stars. It's just so cute, a tale about a bunch of creatures bonding at a camp, realising how friendship is more important than personal gains (food) I so disagree food is food man! But that's not the point here XD ..anyway it also has a villain so you might enjoy it more than you think. A stranger danger element going on.

Just sitting with coffee and this book, reading it, enveloping around cute lil characters and affectionately awwing at their cuteness and innocence as they enjoy camping.

This was a cute story about needing friends, and not being afraid. The illustrations were also very cute.

My son loved this book! I would say it's for younger readers, this is book 2 in the series. The language is easy for beginning readers and the story is engaging. The illustrations fit with the story perfectly and we enjoyed all the small details. This book was fun and full of lessons you don't even realize you're learning.

I received an advanced digital copy of this story through NetGalley and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

I had a great time reading this book. These campers get asked to do a challenging task, and are promised a sweet reward once it gets finished. They think it will be a piece of cake, but it ends up being harder than they thought. Things only get tougher when a mysterious creature collector tries to capture them. When they end up in a bad situation, these campers decide to help them out. As this book comes to an end, they make it to the end of their task, and share this tasty treat together. If you liked the last Creature Campers book then you will want to read this one.

I loved the first book in the Creature Campers series, so I was excited to read this one.

In this story, they have to do a classic camp activity, which is learn how to use a compass. They have to follow a trail to find a special pie. However, the activity is spoiled by the villain, Barnaby, who uses a magnet to attract them to him and disrupt their compass.

This was a funny story. The villain ended up messing up his own plot when he got trapped and the kids had to rescue him. It was a great ending to the story.

Thank you Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

We loved the first book in the Creature Campers series, so I was excited to read this one to my grandson and see what he thought. We enjoyed this story, but not as much as the first one, not exactly sure why though. In this story, the group of friends have to learn how to use a map and a compass to earn a special treat. If they get to the right spot, they will be able to share a special pie. Even though Barnaby, the evil villian who is trying to add the friends to his have to his special collection, interferes, they work together to reach their goal. I liked that Barnaby uses a high powered magnet to disrupt their compass as this would really work, so there is some science thrown in to the story. This was a fun story, and my grandson loved that Barnaby ending up getting trapped by his own scheme and that the friends had to rescue him. He thought it served him right for being a bad guy. The story has a great message with lessons of working together, trust, helping others and giving people second chances. We will continue to read this series. I recommend this book to school libraries, classrooms and families. It is a great early chapter book series.

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for an eARC of this hilarious and fun illustrated novel. I chose this book because my students LOVE reading on Epic and thought I should try out one of the “originals.” I have not read the first of this series, but I was still able to enjoy this adventurous story. The characters were fun and the bad guy was really awesome. I will definitely be recommending to my students.
