What starts as an accidental wolf attack in a mall turns out to be an outbreak of rabies. A unique strain of rabies that spreads through air, water or touch. As panic grips parts of the USA, a pharmaceutical company creates a cure. A cure that is going to create more havoc than rabies.
The CDC trained veterinarian trio - Tom, Kate and Brad are assigned this case. Lakota Sioux Indian, Joseph, and French Investigators from the famous Pasteur Institute - Jean and Jules are called in too. The six are now off on a chase of a lifetime to stop the disease from spreading before it is too late.
The story is absolutely fantabulous! The characters are likeable. The suspense is well-maintained until the end. I recommend you to read book #1 before starting with this one. Though this can be read as a standalone, it is better to start from book #1 so that you will have a brief idea of the plot)
A highly recommended series!
