Description

Just Friends

Taya Monroe is trying to pick up the pieces of her failed writing career and broken life after walking out on her cheating fiancé. The last thing she needs is a serious relationship. The last thing she wants is a fling. Then she runs into an old friend and ski partner—the one man she always wanted who never wanted her.

Ski Patroller Jordan Wiley is a single dad with zero time or energy for dating. When he reconnects with Taya, his attraction to her is even stronger than before she left him behind for a career in the city. But with a young son to think about, he's determined to ignore his feelings. Again.

After a magical day on the slopes, a snow storm traps them in an avalanche of chemistry neither can deny. Will their friendship survive the weight of their passion or will they surface as more than friends?

In Deep

Sophie Tremore is trying to build a career in the male-dominated world of Ski Patrol. Hard to do when her new boss is her smokin' hot ex-lover. She hasn't forgotten how he made her body tingle and her heart pound, although he's making it a lot easier by treating her like she's incompetent—when he's not ignoring her existence altogether.

Emerald Mountain Ski Patrol Director Max Demford has been doing his best to avoid working with his feisty former flame, given his judgment is clouded by those eight mind-blowing weeks two years ago. Ski patrol is dangerous enough, and no way could he handle another person he cares about getting hurt on the mountain.

Forced to work together, their simmering attraction becomes difficult to ignore. When Sophie gets caught in a slide, an adrenaline-filled day could turn into a spectacular night they will never forget—one that could risk both their careers.

Never You

Emerald Mountain Ski Hut caretaker Morgan Monroe doesn't do casual relationships. Not anymore. Certainly not with the obnoxious, flirty, too-hot-for-his-own-good chef she's wanted to strangle all season. He's the kind of man she wouldn't date in a million years, even if he were the dating type.

Chef Dan Griffin doesn't believe in relationships. But a one-night stand to celebrate the end of ski season? Hell yes! Especially with the gorgeous caretaker. She's sexy but melt-in-your-mouth sweet, the kind of woman who could convince a man to get serious…if he were the relationship type. She kept her distance all winter, but he's hoping he can convince her to get closer for one night of passion.

When things heat up on a cold winter's night, will they play it safe or follow their hearts?

The Emerald Mountain Boxed Set includes three titles by Stacy Gold - Just Friends, In Deep and Never You; and while you could easily read each book at your own leisure (on the bus, with a cup of coffee or by the pool) I would definitely recommend binge reading them one after the other.

Each story is a high-octane, adrenaline packed romp with a little drama, and some seriously scorching passion! The strong, sassy and independent women are a delight, while the men are sexy, strong and definitely Alpha in their ways. These are quick, easy reads, but they certainly lack nothing in content and delivery. I’m happy to recommend them as exciting, sizzling stories of smoking` HOT romance on Emerald Mountain.

A quick paced trio of romances based in the snow fields. I really liked this from the beginning. The first two novellas pulled you in with the characters from the moment you started reading them. The third novella Never You, while good didn't have the same attraction to characters as the first. I liked the fast pace of the books with just enough detail into their lives.

A great box set. I couldn't read it fast enough.Amazing pale turner. I read it all in one day. Great characters. Well written.

I enjoyed the writing and the stories. However, they’re all short and give us just enough to get interested . The first one is only three chapters. At best, these are a collection of HFN (happy for now) stories, each with a single sex scene. IMO the three story is the best and longest, which means the characters are better fleshed out and there are a couple of post-sex chapters that give you a sense of the characters actually working on a relationship.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an author provided copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Too fast-paced to be realistic romances but some good steamy scenes. The ski settings were pretty romantic and fun, but I don’t think compelling enough to make me read this one again.
