Woman in the Woods by Darcy Carson. A fun quick read full of romance and dragons! A young huntress seeks a famed wizard to save her village from the plaque and along the way they seek to save the race of dragons and a woman very close to the heart of the wizard.
I liked the second book in this series as much as the first one. Dragons are still involved, but we have different human characters for this book. Although this book had a bit character make an appearance, as well as, having a bit character in the first book be a main character in this book. I look forward to another book (or more) in this series.
Thank you to the publisher, NetGalley and the author for my eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book. It had an interesting premise. I enjoyed the characters. I love everything dragons. The writing wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. This book needs to be polished about 5 times over. There is a lot of potential here, but it's just a bit rough. It's hard to even articulate why. There were just so many times I raised an eyebrow, so many times I was like... wat? Not huge things, but enough of them to make a difference. That said, again, I enjoyed this book, and the steamy bits were goodly steamy.
I enjoyed this book. The characters are enthralling and very easily suck you into the story. Great storyline, dialog and action. I definitely recommend checking it out!
This story has good bones, but definitely felt like a debut that is in desperate need of a developmental editor. It's a diamond in the rough that needs a LOT of polishing. I looked to see if this was a debut author and was surprised to see she has several books out.
