Betrayed

In a small town, a young boy hesitantly approaches the shack of an old man that strikes terror in the heart of every child around. Rumor has it he is crazy and will shoot you on sight. But this old man is the only man in town that holds the key that will unlock the secrets that have consumed the boy for as long as he can remember. There was a war that no one wants to talk about, everyone wants to forget. But this boy has an insatiable curiosity that will not be sated until he finds out about what happened in his town. Will he be satisfied if he learns the truth or will it be more than he bargained for?  A young soldier wounded in the Civil War wakes up in a town he has never heard of around people he doesn't know.
