"Louise Dawn's prose flows like butter. The pictures she paints are searing in their depictions. Her plot races like the rapids at mile 98 on the Colorado River. Fast enough to keep people turning the pages, but not so fast as to throw people off the ride. Kite on the Rocks is a great art." - Terry Shepherd. Author of The Jessica Ramirez Series.

Kite on the Rocks is a thrilling ride of love, action and excitement. I love that the author give logical explanations for dangerous activity. Elana is smart and gorgeous. Atlas is an overprotective hunk. These two are fire and ice and a whole lot of fun. I didn’t know this was part of a series when I picked it up. That being said this story works standalone.

While this is a stand alone story do yourself a favour and read all of the Mobile Intelligence Service books you won't be disappointed everyone of them is a brilliant read in its own right and I have read them all.

Elana Celik is a woman with her own hidden agenda and she is determined not to draw Dylan" Atlas" Jenkins into her dark world no matter what he thinks he wants she will drive him away if she has to . But he is one alpha male who not only knows what he wants but is determined to get it and that thing is Elana When her past puts her in danger even his skills as a elite sniper may not be enough to keep her safe but he will do whatever he needs to in effort to do just that Will she finally admit that she is just as interested in starting something with him You will have to read to see if these two finally get a HEA

Holy Moly! What an end to a series. I'm a bit sad if I'm honest to see the MIT team wander off into the sunset but I'm sure they have more than earned a break!

Elana should be the least likely person in the world to trigger Atlas. She is rich beyond rich, world travelled, and headstrong to the point of recklessness. But after a certain tromp through North Africa after she had been injured helping to save her best friend Charlie, Atlas and her became firm friends.

Atlas would love to be more than that but Elana keeps distancing herself. Not just from him but Charlie and her family too. Determined to find out just what she has got herself mixed up in, Atlas "goes on holiday" to Crete after tracking her down. Soon enough danger comes calling and Atlas' holiday turns into a break neck, high octane adventure. Including saving sexual slaves and human trafficking victims.

Elana is one determined, multi-layered, strong-willed woman. With a secret deeply buried under years of ignoring it in the hope that it'll go away, Elana has the resources to do something positive. With her small team she has put a major dent in operations. But she has also put a target on her back. I loved Atlas and Elana together. He just wants to help her, not cage her or put her off ding what she's doing. Just enable her to be safe whilst doing it. Sister Nikola and her little "lambs" - HMOG I did not see that development coming at all! And Sue - now that's a woman you should NEVER annoy.

Another hit in this series and one I have been waiting for awhile....Atlas and Elana’s story who we’ve met in a previous book when Atlas saved Elana’s life. Atlas has been attracted to Elana from the first time he ever saw her, then he rescued her and they became friends, which he would like to take farther. But Elana has been distancing herself from him and one night he follows her and doesn’t like what he sees and what she may be mixed up in. He decides that during his down time from his team, he’s going to visit her in Europe and find out what she is really up to....or will she pull away even more, leaving him in the dark.
YES YES YES these two were amazing, friends to lovers and so much more between these two as they navigate a dark underworld with evil men who want to eliminate anyone who crosses them. I LOVED these two and the little to almost no drama between them as there was enough drama around them. This author, once again didn’t disappoint with a story that had me flipping the pages with the suspense and descriptions that had me feeling like I was right there in the middle of the action.
An amazing read with suspense, some action, betrayals, some issues that may be sensitive to some which was handled with care, surprises, secrets revealed, heartbreaking scenes and past characters that make an appearance with issues of their own, blending it all in seamlessly and wanting more more more of all the characters.

Louise Dawn has done it again with another badass installment of her Mobile Intelligence Unit, KITE ON THE ROCKS, reminding us why the ‘opposites attract’ trope is so addictive. Dylan “Atlas” Jenkins is a sniper who saved Elana Celik once upon a time, and then they became friends. Elana is smart and sexy and the focus of Atlas’ secret attraction but feels that giving in to his magnetism would be a disaster. Dangerous things are afoot, like human trafficking, sex slaves, and an evil villain, and the stakes are high. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and ultimately this exciting race across Europe is led by the heart. Awesome, right?

When I first started reading this book, I didn’t realize it was part of a series. I read it as a stand alone and I understood everything that was going on, but I wish I would have read the whole series first just for my own enjoyment. This story is full of excitement and I couldn’t put it down. I would recommend this book. I can’t wait to read other books by this author.
