Description
Adam Degore's personal need to find a cure for vampirism drives him to ensnare a vampire, but the creature he captures is Dracula's daughter. Worse yet, he's drawn to her—a monster he's vowed to kill.
Despite her father's wishes, Willow chooses to live among humans instead of the vampire conclave where she would be safe. She wants a life filled with more than shadows. Being captured by a human, not to mention falling in love with one, is not part of her plan.
With vampires and blood hunters closing in on their chosen prey, Adam and Willow need to trust one another. But will that trust come in time for them to survive and find a future together?

I am always a huge fan of any vampire related series. This is the first one I’ve ever read that involves Dracula’s daughter. This is the story about desperation love and a thrilling adventure with lots of twists and turns. I can’t wait to see this series continue.
Bloodborn is an excellent example of combing the human and vampire romance! I was so impressed with the confident and daring nature of Adam the Bloodhunter. What really makes him stand out to me is Chapter Four. I love that Sydney allowed the romance to be a slow burn and having him develop conflicting values from the beginning makes his relations with Willow all much the more realistic and attractive. I would recommend this book to anyone like that enjoys reading vampire romance books with a historical setting.
Willow doesn’t want to live in darkness, so she keeps her identity as a vampire secret while living amongst humans. All of that changes when a vampire feeds on a villager and a blood hunter comes to investigate. Soon, Willow is taken prisoner by a Blood Hunter. Adam has a plan to ‘saving’ his younger brother who was affected by the blood lust curse. Soon, these would-be enemies find an undeniable attraction and must work together with both vampires and blood hunters on their trail.
I was totally sucked in by the cover for Bloodborn but I am also a huge sucker for a good enemies-to-lovers troupe and love love love the paranormal vampire genre. Dracula and Zacharia were fun secondary characters. The plot and pacing were good and I really enjoyed to story as a whole.
I look forward to more by the author!

Unexpected love story with many twists and turns. There is action, intrigue and supernatural characters. It is a deep dive into opposites attract, with death and redemption mixed in. Family ties and obligations drive Adam to despair, can Willows save him and herself? You will have to read the book to find out. You will learn that vampire lore is changing and unification can save us all.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Just loved this book and recommend it to everyone.
I could not finish this book. I tried on several occasions and if just did not hold my interest. Maybe others will enjoy it; which is why I am not rating this book anywhere but Netgalley.
I appreciate Netgalley and the publisher for providing me an e-copy of this book.
