Description

Some secrets are deadly, and  ghost-blogger Jillian Winchester and her photographer boyfriend discover it's true when they set out to investigate an Australian family who disappeared without a trace in the 1880s.

An abandoned sheep station rumored to be haunted by the Kinsley family with ghosts instead of dead bodies or clues is one challenge.  The other is the beautiful but deadly Outback.

As Jillian probes deeper into the mystery, one thing becomes clear: She might not make it out of this quest alive.

I like the premise of the book. Jullian sees spirits. She makes a living from the blog she writes about her adventures with those spirits. Jillian gets a "calling" from a spirit in the Australian outback..

Accompanied by her boyfriend, Mason, she travels there to help this spirit. In doing so, she solves an old mystery.

The author lavishes much attention on details of the Australian outback which I found very interesting. However that same attention is needed to be given to character development and the burgeoning relationship between Jillian and Mason.
The mystery is not very complicated. Nonetheless it's an enjoyable read.

I was given a free copy of this book. I am leaving my honest review.
