An interesting mystery and if you enjoy fashion and purses then this mystery is for you. It wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but I enjoyed the story and characters. Katherine Watson is the head of K Watson Designers. When she hosts a gala to honor women and fashion at her Purse-onalaity Museum, her best friend, the town mayor is murdered. There are several suspects due to the mayor’s position on various town issues and Katherine will not leave the solving of the murder to local police. Officer Jason Holmes along with his K9 Hobbs, warns her to stay out of the investigation. What will happen when Katherine gets too close to the murderer? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
An excellent cozy mystery by a new to me author.
I liked the well thought cast of characters, the well crafted plot and the setting.
The mystery is solid and kept me guessing.
I want to read other books by this author.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
Purses are one of my overindulgences, so this book had immediate appeal. A clever murder mystery. A surprising culprit. Lots of heart-warming thoughts. A dog and a cat add to the charm. A smidgeon of romance.
