I read this book with my daughter and she really enjoyed it.
She liked following the trails, the wavy lines, etc and I liked that she was able to get involved.
It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!

This is a book for the very youngest among us.  It is a board book with felt to feel as an integral part of the printed book.  The illustrations are charming inclucing a hedgehog, a lion, a giraffe and more.  I think that this book will most definitely appeal to babies and toddlers.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.

As I read and understanding the book, the target age for this book is for 3 y.o and above.

It help the kids to learn more about animal, and also help with their sensoric cause there would be "trails" that they need to follow.

The picture is good, the fonts are clear and the color tone is lovely for me.

You are lovely. I love this bright pink, black and white book. My daughter is having a baby around May 1st. I think she would love reading this book to her baby. Pictures are so cute. What a wonderful book to show baby or toddlers.

This is a cute little follow-along book that allows kids to follow the lines and dots with their fingers. I like the black and white theme with the colorful parts where the kids follow along. This is also a cute little book to learn some animals and what they look like, as well as their names.

These simple, bold images in black and white with pops of pastels are perfect for young children and I know this would have been a hit with my son when he was a baby!

He still enjoyed it now at almost two and followed the lines with his fingers.

I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is really a book for the earliest readers. A board book for infants and toddlers, the book is very bright but with muted colors (if that makes sense). The text is very short and not too overwhelming. It's perfect for beginning reading with babies and toddlers.

Simple and engaging, “You Are Lovely” will delight even the smallest of readers. The sensory elements are an especially nice addition.

What a delightful book. Preschoolers and babies would love this book. I like the pretty illustrations because they stand out especially on the darker backgrounds. A very cute short animal picture book with an easy to read story. Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to review this book.

This short rhyming board book highlights 8 different animals and is perfect for babies and toddlers to explore. A felt layer is placed between each page encouraging them to turn pages themselves. Wee ones can trace the soft felt patterns embedded in the illustrations. In doing so they can improve eye-hand coordination.

The black and white illustrations with bright pops of colour are bold, vibrant and age-appropriate perfect. The sensory addition is both educational and fun. It would be a wonderful gift for a newborn. I highly recommend this book.

I just want to start with the fact that I read this as an ebook. This should 100% be read as a physical book because it is a touch-and-feel book. With that, here is my review:

You Are Lovely is a short and cute book. There are only about 4 pages, like you flip the page 4 times, not like a traditional book. Each page takes you to a different place: the sea, air, forest, and jungle. There are animals on each page, like a seahorse, owl, and hedgehog. The text is short and easy to read, and the illustrations of the animals are big and easy to see. The book is mainly black and white with some color, which would make this perfect for a baby. I am positive that a baby will love the touch-and-feel portion of this book while it is being read to them.

Overall, the text is easy to memorize, the illustrations are great, and I like how different animals are included. I would recommend this book for a baby under 1 year. Any older might be pushing it because of the black and white pictures. This would be a great baby shower gift for any new parent.

I requested and received an e-ARC of this book from NetGalley and Quatro Publishing Group in exchange for my honest opinion.

Love the high contrast illustrations with the splashes of pink and blue to highlight what the text is talking about and to encourage them to feel the animals.

Cute little book. The contrasting colors are awesome and I like that it rhymes. Plus it's full of sweet animals!

With wonderful high contrast illustrations, and felt trails for children to follow, this is a lovely board book for very young children, particularly newborn-6 months who need the high contrast to see the animals. Very cute and would be easy to reread with a little one.

5★
“No two animals are the same!”

This is a first, first book for tiny tots, a board book with felt layers between the pages to make it easy to separate them. I have only a digital version to review, but I can see how this would help.

For a book using only black and white with splashes of pink and aqua, this is surprisingly bright and appealing. Many books either don’t do that well, or they use lots of different colours, thinking that will make up for poor illustrations.

My Goodreads review includes an illustration of a whale spouting and seahorse blowing bubbles

There are patterns everywhere, giving lots of opportunities to match colours, to trace wavy lines, to point to shapes, to count bubbles – the list goes on.

My Goodreads review includes an illustration of a lion and a giraffe.

Situated between the lion and the giraffe are five rows of little “suns”. Six, seven, eight, nine, ten little suns. Did you notice? Children love to re-read their favourite books over and over and over, and this simple one helps a grown-up (or older child) make up games to play with the pictures.

Thanks to NetGalley and words&pictures for the preview copy. I’m sure the actual board book with felt is even more delightful than my copy.

I absolutely love how highly contrasting all of the illustrations are! This will be so great for a little eyes, and I think the pink felt will be a fun addition for little kiddos.

What a beautiful, delightful little story. This story takes us on an adventure to meet different animals along the way. Each, beautiful animal is unique from the animal before. The illustrations are beautiful and the colors are perfect for little ones. There is a tactile experience for little ones as well with felt pieces to feel on each page.

I was given the chance to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is definitely a book I will be looking for to gift as baby shower gifts and first birthdays.

This appeals more to very young babies, as the black and white contrast is brilliant for their eyesight and holds their attention. My daughter (who is two) was interested to start with but got distracted quite quickly, whereas my little boy is only six months and he kept giggling and really enjoyed this from start to finish! Very cute illustrations which can teach little ones simple animals.

This is a board book that includes a sensory aspect to the illustrations, adding a nice ‘touch and feel’ addition for babies and toddlers, alike. In addition to the cat and mouse and butterfly on the front, there are other animals, a whale, a seahorse, owl, a bee, and a bird, a bear and a porcupine – whose spiky hair you can feel. Each page adds sensory appeal for young ones, as well as colourful and charming illustrations.

A lovely way to introduce books, and the joy of reading, and the joy of being read to, to the youngest ones among us.
