Description

The sixteenth Detective Superintendent Roy Grace novel from the highly acclaimed, internationally bestselling author Peter James.

Roy Grace, creation of the award-winning author Peter James, unearths a powerful criminal network in Find Them Dead

A Brighton gangster is on trial for conspiracy to murder, following the death of a rival crime family boss. As the jury file into Lewes Crown Court, twelve anonymous people selected randomly from fifty, there is one person sitting in the public gallery observing them with keen interest, and secretly filming them. Later, a group of the accused's henchmen sit around a table with the full personal details of each of the twelve jurors in front of them. They need to influence two of them - a jury can convict if directed on a 10-2 majority verdict but no less. But which two?

When Roy Grace is called in to investigate a murder that has links to the accused and the trial, and the suspicion that an attempt has been made to intimidate jurors, he finds the reach and power of the accused's tentacles go higher than he had ever imagined.

5 stars plus !

Roy Grace is back!!

Find Them Dead does not disappoint. Though it is a bit of departure from the regular Roy Grace novels as a lot is focused in the court room , Roy is still out doing his job investigating a murder that must be related to this high profile case.

There is jury tampering, bribery, did I say more murder, this book has it all.

Peter James always throws a curve ball your way in his novels ( my favourite series) and I did not see the ending coming at all.

I really enjoyed Find Them Dead because when Roy and his team made an appearance it was even better than before.

Thanks to Net Galley, Pan McMillan, McMillan UK for a great and entertaining read. See you soon Roy Grace !!

I have read all the Roy Grace books and this is a tad different in that it mostly takes place in the courtroom instead of being a police procedural.. It has a great storyline filled with lots of suspense and the characters with good dialogue. There’s a number of threads that come together bringing the end to a brilliant conclusion. Roy Grace and his team are still there doing their part but the court case is the front runner. I enjoyed Find Them Dead and highly recommend the read. Thank you Peter James, I am anxiously awaiting the next one.
