Description

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Marked Men series comes an irresistible and suspenseful romance between a doctor who plays by the rules and the outlaw who breaks them in order to protect her.

Dr. Presley Baskin has always lived a quiet, calm life. Unfortunately, nothing about her life in Loveless, Texas -- especially not the wild, rowdy, and impossibly close-knit Lawton family who've claimed her -- is quiet or calm. Which is how loner Presley finds herself roped into patching up local bad boy Shot Caldwell against her better judgment. Presley wants nothing to do with the dangerous, brooding leader of the local outlaw motorcycle club. But when someone starts stalking her, Shot is the only person she trusts to help. Plus he owes her one . . .

Palmer 'Shot' Caldwell has always known his life isn't made for relationships. At least until shy, secretive, Presley reluctantly pulled a bullet out of him. He's oddly protective of the pretty doctor, so when she comes to him for help, hard-hearted Shot suddenly realizes there's nothing he wouldn't do to keep her safe.

Wow wow wow!!! I loved this book! And the series is awesome too!! This book had everything!! It was filled with suspense, action, drama, and some heartache and heartbreak! Of course it was hot too!! I thought Jay was leading up to writing an Mc series with this book! But I read in the back of the book that she's not! 😢 I could have sworn at one of the signings I met her at that she talked about doing an mc series?! maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part lol I think she would write an awesome Mc romance without a doubt! Definitely don't miss out on this book and series!! They can be read separate also ! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me! Thank you to Jay for your wonderful words and another amazing read!

So excited to get this book- thank you NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing).

This book will leave you mad, upset and heartbroken............that it's over. I so did not want to finish this book because I was so in love with these characters. Nothing sexier than the way Shot was written as the bad ass biker knocked to his knees over Presley.

Blacklisted picks up with the amazing Lawton family and Presley's new discovery that she is a member of the gang. She is being terrorized by a former friend/co-worker and this suspense and drama was greatly written and made for an amazing way to see Presley grow into a strong and fierce woman. She is vulnerable enough at times to allow Shot in but strong enough to tell him she doesn't need him. This is impressive to Shot and he finds Presley irresistible. These two are definitely one of my favorite book couples.

Jay Crownover done an amazing job keeping he secondary characters woven in the story and this family finally getting it together after a rocky start. I highly recommend this book- and definitely the entire series!

Blacklisted is the newest book in the Lawless series and I was so excited to read it. I devoured this book in one day and I now must sit and wait for more. This book is about Presley, who is a medical examiner and also the Lawton’s half sister. She is a doctor and is trying to learn how to deal with her new family. Shot, the outlaw biker who lives next door to Presley’s half sister. Shot is the bad boy outlaw biker who also happens to have a huge heart and cares a lot about his brothers and his friends. Palmer meets Shot when she’s called into the bar her sister owns to help pull a bullet out of Shot. He know feels he owes her one and will do anything to just get the favor out of the way and move on in his life. I love the characters so much in this series. They are full love and are super funny. You will love this story between two people of from different paths who try everything to not be together. Five star read!!

Another fantast contemporary romance from Jay Crownover. The characters are richly depicted with great backstories. Fast moving plot and intriguing romance!

Presley and Shot managed to give readers everything they could have wanted and so much more! Between balancing new family ties and possible love against danger, both Presley and Shot had to figure out just how much they wanted out of togetherness, and then how exactly to get it. And when it all came down to a hail of bullets and blood, the Lawton family and the bikers tossed all rivalries out the window to make things right.

I have really enjoyed this series because it shows just what a talented writer Jay is. She has managed to take us from NA bad boys to gritty city problems and now to grown up men with so much more than just some troublemaking tendencies or grit running through their veins. This may be her best series, and I definitely think that Presley and Shot are in my top three couple, simply because they both had so many layers to them and Dr. Death brought out more light in Shot than he’d ever thought he even had. And I must admit, if she ever decides to write about the other Sons, I’m definitely there for it, because she’s sure to weave tales that are impossible to put down about people and places that feel utterly real, flawed, and completely human.
