Description
Jill Pierce's life has never been easy. Then she discovers the father of her newborn daughter is not only married but dead. Jill's not sure how she and her baby will survive until his parents make her an offer she can't refuse--relocate to Cincinnati so they can help her. When Johnny, the baby's sexy-as-sin paternal uncle arrives to help her move, Jill knows her life could quickly become the perfect talk show episode.
When Johnny Browning is forced to move his dead brother's mistress home, he's floored by an instant attraction to the sassy young cocktail waitress. Unfortunately, denying his desire proves impossible, and after a month of frustration, denial gives way to a confession that he wants more than friendship. Despite his sincere interest, Jill is determined not to get involved with him. His only hope is to convince her he's nothing like his brother. His plan is simple--show her love like she's never known before.
Johnny's intentions are clear while Jill is determined to make better life choices. But if she's not careful, he just might make the choice for her and build a life with someone else.

Super fact romance read. I liked this book but felt that the characters could have been developed a bit more. I did enjoy the romance between Jill and Johnny, although at a few times I wanted to sit them both down and let them talk it out. I was not prepared for the shocking turn the book took towards the end, but I was happy at how it turned out.
Surprising complexity and emotion:
This was the second book in the Betrayal to Bliss series and looks at the situation this time from the other woman's point of view. It is not necessary to read the first book in order to understand and enjoy this one. It was
quite heart breaking at times but also showed how it is possible to overcome life's tragedies. I just wished that I felt more depth from the characters. The timeline also flipped back and forth a bit which disrupted the pacing somewhat.
After finding out that her boyfriend lied to her, Jill finds herself alone with a new baby to care for. Her boyfriend's family surprisingly steps in to help and I liked seeing how supportive they were despite having to deal with their own differing emotions and responses to the situation. Poor Jill has had a tough life and I was so pleased to see things finally work out for her. Johnny was a protective alpha male but I liked that he had a tender side too.
From a medical point of view I wished more details were given regarding her injuries and surgery rather than just saying she was in the ICU.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
Jill has terrible luck pretty much in life and Johnny is the brother to her baby’s daddy. I felt this leap was handled fairly well in the story. They fought their attraction. It could’ve been fleshed out more. I’m not sure I would consider this erotica. It may be mislabeled as such. The last part of the seemed hurried with much going on.
Jill has been dealt a rough hand in life.
She thought she had finally found happiness with Matt. However, she soon finds out that he is a truly horrible person. After Matt's death, his family has Jill move closer to them so that they can get to know Matt's child. The book explores the very complicated relationships between Jill and each member of matt's family. I started this book when I couldn't sleep, and ended up staying up all night to keep reading. Jill was a great character to root for.
Yet another amazing story by Tiffani with lots of turnarounds and unique plot. Tiffani is charismatic in building worlds and giving depth to her characters carrying her readers away and keeping them hooked till the last page.
If you loved her first book, I am pretty sure you will enjoy thus one, too. As for the fun of steamy scenes, believe there are enough to satisfy you! Enjoy it!
Jill tells her lover that Matt she's pregnant. He dumps her. Having not heard from him in 6 months she takes his belonging to his house and is surprised to find out that not only was he married but also that he is dead. Matt's wife tells his family about the baby and they want to meet. When Jill sets her eyes on Johnny, Matt's brother, it's attraction. He feels the same way. Jill thinks it's wrong of them to get together. Hopefully Johnny can persuade her.
I received a free copy of From Strangers to Lovers in exchange for an honest review. This was one of of those stories that sucked me in right from the start. It was a quick and easy read with a unique plot. Jill really had to grow up fast when Matt, her baby's dad disappeared after finding out she was pregnant.
Matt's family was amazing. They all stepped in to make sure Jill and her baby were taken care of, and the transition into Johnny and Jill's developing relationship was tastefully written.
Overall, this was a great book that I would recommend to friend's and family.
I think our faithful readers of adult erotica will enjoy this title. I think they will especially enjoy that the narrative unfolds with two different voices -- giving the male and female perspective. I also think the cover will draw the readers in.
From Strangers to Lovers by Tiffani was a great book. It had everything a good romance.
Jill's baby was from a married man. He immediately left her when he found out she was pregnant. Life seems to be going downhill for her, but not for long. The storyline was great, easy to follow. I would say this is a romance story, not erotic as it was listed.
