After looking through this book, I realised that I have been neglecting a very useful tool in my artist's toolbox and that is my little mannequin. I like how this wooden figure is used to show certain poses that can help you draw your humans more realistically.
Certainly a great help for the beginner and the artist who wants to improve as people can be the most difficult to draw accurately.
Thank you Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group Walter Foster for this ARC. This is my honest opinion.

Teaching beginners how to use a mannequin is a great idea and will allow them to put it in any pose and use the skills learnt to produce a drawing. The instructions are clear, uncluttered and easy to understand and a good variety of different studies are used. It would also be a good reference book for artists with a bit of experience wanting to expand their skills in this area. Overall a good basic manual.
